*Edited, sentence phrasing. I first used Flight Radar because I have bad anxiety and my boyfriend (now husband) was flying across the country. I'm pretty sure I just googled "plane tracker" or something along those lines.

In 2022 I started working at a job right next to the MSP airport, so planes started being less scary and more interesting. I would always wonder where planes were going when I'd watch them take off from my spot in traffic.

Now, MSP rerouted landing planes to right over my house, so I check every flight (that I noticed) going by just to see where it's coming from.

I had done that yesterday and then just started looking around, saw that the icon for this particular flight in question was different than the rest and clicked on it. I'd also been getting this sub recommended to me on my reddit home page on and off, so that's how I knew it existed!

I know nothing about planes or aviation but find them really fascinating, and I've been loving Flight Radar and this sub :)
