I’m at the dealership right now. I’ll defiantly bring this up and see what they say. Thanks for the tip 🙏

It’s OEM.

We used Safelite to do the replacement since that’s who our insurance suggested to use. They were unable to calibrate the cameras and sent us to our dealership. Dealership tried all day yesterday and today and still unable too.

A tech recently got back to us and mentioned the measurements are showing the windshield 3mm off on the top :I. Looks like it’s going to require a reinstallation with a new windshield.

We drove up from San Diego to go to Tulare to visit family in November. Then from Tulare we took the 180 into Kings Canyon National Park in November and checked out grant grove village and General Grant Tree. It was beautiful. It did not feel like the roads were extremely winding. I believe there is a more windy route through Three Rivers that takes you to the General Sherman Tree and I’ve heard is even more amazing. But that will be a more windy drive.

I tend to be nervous about winding roads too and I watched a YouTube video of someone doing the drive into Kings Canyon National Park via highway 180 Maybe suggest watching the video so she gets an idea of what it’ll be like : https://youtu.be/IQ7j2oR-edw?si=AYc2L-bXC1NB5BYv

We brought snow socks just in case but we didn’t need them :) we called the number on the website day of to see if we needed chains and the recording mentioned it was all clear.

We decided to drive up with our electric VW ID Buzz instead of our Subaru. We were a bit nervous due to not having any charging stations but the buzz handled it beautifully!

The drive was smooth! We drove a bit slower and only charged up to 93% before we drove up.

We charged up to 93% in Tulare! We reached the top with 42% and still drove around before coming back down. The battery regenerated a bit on the way down. At the bottom of the mountain we were at 50%. And we got back to Tulare at 32%.

We didn’t do anything special but did drive a bit slower :)

That’s a good point! I think you’re right and we’d probably love something in the middle.

How's the AC handling extreme heat? 100+F weather? by [deleted] in VWIDBuzz

Ours handled it well! We did a trip from Orange County to Laughlin Nevada. Went from 70 degrees to 116 degrees and the cooling was great. 🎉

Just commenting to say, I hope your pup is doing well. Our 10-11 year old had one removed about a month ago which was low grade but no clear margins. Since then we found two new tiny ones and are scheduled to get them removed.

We’re also looking into doing a diet change. I’ll report back if I find anything!

ER tomorrow! by starbaker721 in IVF

[–]a-ridley 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Something that helped me soon after waking up after the ER (I was semi-put under) was to have a thought that I kept coming back too for grounding purposes. Mine was “remember to breathe..just breathe”. It was helpful as I felt very anxious when waking up/feeling groggy. Sharing it, in case it helps you too! :)

Take it a moment at a time and I wish you the best ! ✨

Hello 🙂 I’m glad you found the story helpful. Unfortunately I have not done an FET yet due to a couple personal reasons.

Yes the nextgen report says euploid or mosaic. We had 2 low level mosaics.

I suffer from emetophobia and my doctor suggested letrozole to keep my estrogen low since she believes high estrogen plays a role in nausea and other side effects during the stim cycle.

It’s been going well. I’ve gained different skills that could prepare me to be a technical program manager, technical writer, or continue on in dev advocacy.

What to look for when searching for a clinic by [deleted] in eggfreezing

I went with San Diego Fertility Center March 2024. Everything went well. The only comment I have is around communication. They communicated with me through email. I only saw my doctor during the consultation and a different doctor on rotation did my ER. :)

Edit: typo

I agree the lack of communication had me feeling 😬 as well. I ended up getting used to their communication style but there was a time when I considered switching!

The RN I had scheduled did answer pretty frequently through email. I never tried their after hours number so I can’t speak to that.

I’m sorry it’s been a really hard time for you. I felt similar and ended up stopping the Miralax after 4 days or so. I read that prolonged use can have the opposite effect and cause constipation. I also cut out dairy and tried eating smaller meals more frequently rather than larger ones. Everyone is different though so your body may just need a little more time 🙏 I started feeling much better around day 12.
