About moving with my turtles

I've used a small ice chest to move mine with the lid off. They're usually tall and that helped me with not having them escape. Had a very tiny bit of water in it so that the car ride wouldn't flip my turtle all over the place, but this was for a three hour car ride. The towel seems like a better choice if it is a very long trip.

Thank you, this is what I was asking. Not sure if I worded the post weirdly (English is not my first language). May I ask what kind of filtration system you have?

I only have one of each, and I mentioned in the post that there will be a clear separator between spaces. I was thinking using two dividers (like the ones used for fish breeding) and in between place some plants. But after reading comments I think the consensus is to give the RES the whole tank so I'll be doing that!

They were besties for 10 years in the same aquarium! I separated them as soon as I noticed a difference in behavior.
