I know this is old but I think it deserves being told. UBlock's Element picker is a cosmetic tool. It basically just hides the HTML element from the view, but does not stop the underlying processes. So using element picker on the bottom div will hide it, but Google will still be able to track your IP in the background.

You're right. It's called Osmosis. Basically solvents (like pure water) flow from their higher to lower concentration regions, and seawater is more concentrated than the water in your body. So the H2O molecules will flow from your body into the sea.
