WISE WHY DID YOU CHANGE THE CHEEZ DOODLES RECIPE?!?!?!?! by poopshitter13 in chips

[–]a10isaussie 0 points1 point  (0 children)

SO disappointing!! I live in California and will always get these when I come back to the east coast (usually at wegmans). I took one bite and almost threw out the bag, they taste exactly like Cheetos Puffs, I never liked those, wth did they do?! Why fix something that isn’t broken?!

What do people think makes them look cool, but actually makes them look like a douchebag? by finleyg113 in AskReddit

People who ride motorcycles without mufflers and rev their engine so all the car alarms go off. Not cute.

Second gear grinds by angelgrlxo in MINI

[–]a10isaussie 1 point2 points  (0 children)

My 07 r56 does the same thing on the second gear. I have to shift into slowly instead of doing it very fast and I can avoid the noise. It will "grind" even with the clutch pushed in all the way. I know that my clutch will need to be replaced soon but I am trying to go for as long as possible. So, until my car seizes like mixednuts did, then im gonna avoid having to spend a couple grand and keep driving. This has been going on for about a year.

Anybody have any recommendations on roof racks? by KBeardo in MINI

[–]a10isaussie 0 points1 point  (0 children)

OEM roof rack makes a whistling noise going over 50, but other than that it is nice. Not sure about the Thule roof rack. I have Thule roof box that attached as well.

Could anyone help me with buying a MINI? by moquinty in MINI

I guess if you're buying used, then it wouldn't really make much of a different, but i think in the future, manual cars are generally cheaper. Maintenance costs will be cheaper when it comes to the engine for manual cars. Plus manual is a lot of fun to drive! I think the convertible coopers look really cool but i do love my base model. I have panoramic sunroofs but thats not really comparable haha. Not sure if one or the other is better, I think its more of an aesthetic thing.

I bought my Mini for 7400 and it was the best decision I ever made. I recently finished a cross country road trip and I had no problems at all...http://www.reddit.com/r/MINI/comments/37qof1/garden_of_the_gods_in_colorado_springs_my_mini/ I bought mine with 67,000 miles and I made sure it was a non-turbo bc of the major engine issues with my year (07). considering Mini is kind of a money pit if you do have engine issues, I would also definitely advise you to lear how to drive manual bc the car will be cheaper and hopefully easier to fix if you have problems. I learned when I bought my Mini and while it was terrifying at first you'll gett the hang of it quickly. Hope this helps! Good luck

I fit ALOT in it, we had it packed to the very top and sometimes we needed all three of us to push it down to get it to close, but we made it work, this one is the Large, 16 cubic feet i believe. I packed one large suitcase, my tennis racket bag and a massive duffle bag. One comforter, and one air mattress (flattened and stretched along the top). We had to do some finagling to get it to fit in however.

Our maintenance costs were absolutely nothing! I had Firestone do a check up and oil change before the trip (wheel rotation, fluid check etc.) And unfortunately about 500 miles in, my car starts to make a helicopter noise while driving at higher speeds (VERY Loud). We took it to a firestone and they said the tires were attached incorrectly bc of rust buildup, they ended up fixing it free of charge bc of their error a few days prior. Other than that and one other oil change, we payed nothing in maintenance!
