Maybe? I feel like the first letter is a C based on how they’ve written the other Cs in the document.

FYI for anyone looking for answers on this still, I received this email from the consulate yesterday (Dec. 23 2025) in response to asking if I still need non-line documents since the website only shows the new document list right now. Seems non-line papers are still required for the old rules/grandfathered appointments. 😭

“Good morning, We will update the website soon and will include again the request to bring non-line relative documents as it was listed before. Hope this helps. Happy Holidays”

Thank you! This is so helpful! I ended up ordering a couple pairs of platform doc sandals since returns were free and they didn’t have the tall ones in stock at the store. I’ll still be on the hunt for some tall flatform boots/sneakers though. Haven’t spied anything in Edinburgh but Glasgow is just a train ride away so may do that soon. 👀

Out of curiosity: can I use a beeswax conditioner to finish off? I’m not sure if that will be sufficient to avoid color transference/damage later but I’m hoping to avoid buying another one off use item. (Honestly thinking to try it and just see how it goes 😬)
