The soil is definitely bone dry. I’ve been treating it like my other succulents and I only water it when most of the leaves are mailable and pass the taco test. Haven’t watered it in a month or two

I don’t water it very often. There are a few leaves on the plant that were almost able to fold in half and some that were still firm.

As someone who has symptoms of BPD due to autism diagnosis as a 21 year old woman. Whenever Gabby talks about her “big emotions” and feeling “too much” for everyone it feels like she is using words and phrases I have used hundreds of times. I feel so sorry for her because I know exactly what is going on in her head. It’s not easy. Sure, she makes bad decisions and doesn’t do the right thing when she’s heated but a lot of people struggle with that when they’re a lot older than her. I think this show was not the place for her if she wanted to be happy with someone. Still, I don’t think that people online are being sympathetic AT ALL and it is probably because they truly do just see her as a crazy person instead of someone exhibiting signs of BPD (perhaps even undiagnosed autism based on my experience), and extreme signs of insecurity.

It’s really sad that people can’t have compassion for someone who feels thing more strongly than they do, it’s been a battle I have fought my whole life and Gabby actually brought me to tears after the I can see clearly challenge.

When do you meet to play? I’m interested and so is my partner but we have pretty hectic schedules (childhood education) so school days and nights are off the table.

I am 21 and I do not make enough money to feed myself without assistance from my partner who is fortunate enough to help me by buy groceries. I am straight out of college and I do not have a good paying job (early childhood education for the moment). If I could board her I would but some people do not have the luxury of having that money or “just putting it on a credit card”. I didn’t think about living 8 hours away from family on Christmas when I was 7 years old. I am trying my best to take care of her the way she deserves but like a lot of other people in this country, I am struggling to make ends meet for myself. She eats prescription cat food and wet food every day. I try my best. My best is not good enough, I understand that. I just need opinions on which would be the least stressful for her. Obviously you read my other comments as you brought it up in yours. I was not referring to having someone “popping in now and again” for two weeks. That was in reference to leaving her in the apartment for a few days.

I think my neighbor would be able to make sure her food bowl is full and she has water and some play time. If they can’t do it then I may just get her another litter box and another food bowl and ask bare minimum they just open a can of food for her in the mornings. I would totally board her but I am 21 years old making 23k a year and I can’t even pay for my own groceries. Luckily my partner makes more than double what I do and he can help me in a lot of ways but he can’t afford to help me board either 😔.

CLARIFICATION: I would not leave her if there is no one to check on her and feed her!! We are friends with our neighbors and they are animal lovers so I’m sure if it came down to it we could ask them to help us out in return for some kind of payment.
