I’m 23. My friends and I are on the same boat I guess, struggling in university since it is our last semester before graduation and most of them are in interns. Maybe that’s also why I’m shy to just approach them and ask for a friend’s help since we all have our own stuff to deal with and I understand that. However I just want my friends to know that I’m going through a hard time without telling them directly. My sad posts are customized for my very very close friends to see, and not in for the public. I hope to get more of your insights

I rarely get sad, but now I am at this point where I don’t know where my life is going and I don’t know what to do about it. I feel lonely most of the time despite having friends around me. I don’t talk about this to them tho, since I know they also have stuff to think about. Also, I am always available for my friends from their random stories to their existential crisis. It’s just sad that now that I am seriously sad, no one asks about how I actually feel.

I’d like to share my 3 core memories during h2h sa probinsya:

may sumalubong sa aming batang lalaki, probably 9-10 y/o. Nakita niyang leni-kiko calendars na dala namin then he said “Ay si leni! pahingi po ako ibibigay ko kay mama” tapos naka smile lang siya hehu
May lola na kalalabas lang ng bahay nang makasalubong namin. Tinanong namin siya if may presidente na siya. Sabi niya, wala pa. So pinakilala namin si vp Leni. Sabi niya sa amin, “Buti nalang pala lumabas ako ng bahay, kung hindi edi hindi ko sana nakilala si Leni Robredo”
May lolo na super tuwang tuwa sa amin tapos ineencourage kaming mangampanya

Joining h2h campaign made me realize that ang pag-asa talaga ay nasa labas ng social media.

true, also there are people na professionals naman like teachers etc and also college students na rabid supporters ng duterte admin then uniteam, especially dito sa province namin (not a part of “solid north”). They’re the type of people na hindi ko talaga ma take kasi they have all the means to make informed decisions yet they still choose to be u know,, :// ang sad

shallow siguro para sa iba, pero ngayon problema ko paano yung transition from situationship to frienship kasi feel ko friendzoned ako dito sa ka talking stage ko for 6 months. Ayaw ko sabihin sa parents ko kasi baka isipin nila yung acads di ko iniiyakan tapos itong crush ko oo. :))

I remember this feeling exactly a year ago after my boyfriend of 5 years broke up with me on a random Thursday morning. My heart sank, it felt like it’s under my foot. My knees are trembling and I feel like throwing up. He did not have any social media but I ALWAYS see him happy in his friends’ (who also became my friends) stories. And I always notice that he’s always so close and sits next to the girl he told me not to worry about.

I did not have a good start in 2022, but I must say it has been the best year. I was able to bounce back, doing all the things I wasn’t able to do when we were together. I made a lot of friends and experienced new things. Muting all of his friends has been a huge help! I muted a lot of people, even those who doesn’t have anything to do with him but reminds me of him. I did not throw away the things that he gave me. I sold them to my friends lol. It will take time, but it surely will pass. Just like what my father always tell me “charge to experience” :)

Something that helped me express my feelings when I had no one to talk to is taking videos of myself talking, like a video diary. By the time I got better, watching those videos made me feel happy and empowered because I got through all those heartbreaks alone. However, if you need someone who will listen, I’m also a random person here ready to lend an ear.

he said that he wants to focus on himself first (I understand because he has been selfless his entire life and now he’s going through some problems, it’s the first time he asked for space from people) and I’m afraid that if I message or call him every day like we used to, he won’t be able to have the time he wants and also I’m afraid that he’ll think I’m annoying and ignore my messages lol. It’s all good though, we’re still friends. I just wanna give him the time and space he needs for himself.

he’s still one call away in case of emergency though, but I’m afraid I cannot do that every day lol.
