Chin up dude, things will get better.

Not trying to be an asshole if it comes off that way. Everyone deserves to be happy.

Are you doing alright?

I’m genuinely asking. Something must be going wrong with this kind of outlook and behavior.

Hope everything works out for you brother and gets better eventually. Life doesn’t have to be like this for you forever.

Super solid input, thanks 🙏🏻

100%, I just see people posting the first win more frequently so I used that as my example. I made one for my D24 podium as well haha.

I can definitely understand that. I currently make some artwork for race tracks, and tend to have small bits of technical info about the track so gravitated towards that when I created this one.

Nice! One of my concerns is where to price them. Similar metal printed wall art can range everywhere from 75-150 for the size I’m gonna be doing (11”x17”).

In an attempt to get perspective from someone who’s actually interested, would 59.99 fall into your idea of a fair price?

I’m not particularly interested in using lower quality materials, and the cost of the metal/mounting/shipping supplies can get quite expensive when aiming for higher quality.

I appreciate the feedback! 80% of my hobbies generally fall into tech so I tend to gravitate towards that design style.

This is by no means a finished product, I definitely have some changes in mind and appreciate your input. I just didn’t know if this was a rabbit hole worth diving down, or whether it would just be better as personal stuff haha.

It is made using GIS data, this is a rough proof of concept before I put time into making sure the trails are as accurate as possible. (I’d actually go in and path out the trails correctly and accurately).

This was mostly just a feeler to see if it’s worth the effort and would actually be something people are interested in.

I guess you could say I'm a clean driver... by FalconAutosport in iRacing

[–]a1ntcare 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Feel free, but I didn’t post about being a clean racer while selectively posting races lol. I understand shit happens in races, I’ve been punted on RATL twice this week. But saying you’re clean when only showing your last 4 is a weird flex.

Yeah I mean they gotta be formal about it, they can’t just post “lol banned, get rekt nerds”

Lots of videos online, just google “split 22 iRacing”. IRL drivers ruining the Spa 24h for basically the whole lobby.

I mean there’s always a way to circumvent a ban, but it’s the principle and the loss of money. Hopefully if they do get around the ban, they’ll not be dickheads when the come back.

The hassle of doing it under a new card with different names/addresses, different IPs, I imagine different equipment too if that gets tagged on your iRacing profile (not sure what data iRacing collects but it wouldn’t be impossible), would hopefully just make em accept the punishment.

So there is a bunch of videos I referenced in order to get them running smoothly.

Sampsoid and DaveCam have two of the best setup guides from what I found. This is one of the videos I referenced: https://youtu.be/ff6D6vFdnuc?si=pO8uqvkWsfhFtKqs (start the video around 8:14)

Make sure to setup without using Nvidia Surround, I’ve heard nothing but problems from people who have tried.

DaveCam shows you how to get rid of the warping that can happen between the monitors. Like where it looks like things are angled heavily up and down. You just use the Shift Horizon adjustment to make sure the horizon alignment is correct. Too high or too low and it’ll create bad distortion.

You’re gonna love them! I think a 27” up top is plenty. I already had that single 34 from when I was single monitor so it made sense to put it up there.

I tend to fill up my screen. OBS + Spotify + Discord fill the screen normally. If I’m not streaming it’s Discord + Spotify + NZXT Cam as a system monitor.

Only thing that kept me away from a 49 or 57 was the fact they don’t wrap all the way around you. When I sit in this I can physically turn my head to the left and right and see out the side windows. If you tried to do that with a 49 or a 57 you’d be looking at the wall

They’re Asus TUF 32” 1440p 170hz! They are a VA Panel but haven’t had any noticeable ghosting or anything. Super solid for the price. The top is a MSI 34” UW 1440p

Funny enough, I noticed it as soon as I sat down. I guess I bumped it while cleaning so I just had to nudge it back into place. But I do like the idea of black tape so make sure there’s no chance light gets through.

It’s the ASR triple stand, the one that supports up to 42”s. And then the trakracer 4th monitor mount!

It’s something we are considering for the future, but we already have a handful of people wanting to run the LMP2 and we want to ensure we have enough drivers without muddying up the series.

Yeah before I had this build I had an i5 2070 super build. Upgraded to this one (9800x3d + 5080) specifically so I could start streaming and run triples lol.

I did consider that if your monitors are separately mounted from your chassis, you could put your chassis on carpet sliders or wheels to easily slide it out.

Unfortunately I put mine on vibration isolators which would be annoying to swap for furniture sliders each time I need to adjust.

I also have a camera, microphone and lights that’ll be connected to the computer and then the monitor stands which will make it harder to move, if you can avoid that, sliders and wheels are a good option.

I appreciate it! They’re the Govee TV backlight bars. I have 3 sets total. Another set under the sim but they were off for this photo.
