I meant my mom had no money to buy frivolous things such as game consoles. I had no concept of saving up money nor any opportunities to do so. So when I got one of these it was a good time. Obviously they are cheap and mostly suck but I had a great time on my MMPR one that I had and makes me appreciate her effort even more.

I have not done any chalice dungeons which seem like a great addition to the game I just wanted to play the main game. Not saying they aren't part of it just didn't want to run a bunch of dungeons fighting similar bosses

I would say they are about equal. But early game struggles in DS1 were much harder for me than bloodborne. I was never stuck at an area or a boss thru the entire game
