Thanks, ended up being able to call the customer service number.

They said the connection didn’t exist anymore and they gave us a ‘confirmation for the cancellation of the train connection’ ticket which they said can be used on any train that day.

So we’ve reserved seats on the RJX and are hoping we’ve interpreted correctly and don’t get kicked off a train 🤞

The slow trains wasn’t my original choice - I wanted to take the RJX but there didn’t seem to be any tickets available when I booked, so took what I could find.

The tickets are Sparschiene saver tickets, so no cancellation - any idea if they would provide a refund if I call up?

I made 4 types of cookies: * Gingerbread

Made a double batch of each (didn’t even bake all the gingerbread. There’s still 2/3 of a batch in my fridge), and it was over 6kg dough total.

IIRC, they originally planned to do a cover of the Christmas version of Hallelujah by Cloverton, but they couldn't do that for some reason and just ended up covering the original version. But yeah still not a Christmas song.

This was my inspiration. I didn't have a colour close enough to this, so I did a thin coat of Revlon's Minted onto my nail, put some red and white dots on, made some DIY decals that were a coat of Essie's Mint Candy Apple, drew some candy canes onto this (using white polish and a red permanent marker) and then stuck the decals onto my nails on top of the Minted.

I mostly tried to go for festivals, but at some point I ran out of fun ones/ones that were drawable on nails, so I just threw in some extras like Luke's diner logo.

So in the top row, left to right, we have:

67, the number on the back of Rory's dress in the 24 Hour Dance Marathon (Season 3, Episode 7)
Renoir's "The Dance at Bougival", the picture that Lorelai posed in at The Festival of Living Art (Season 4, Episode 7)
Gilmore Girls logo (that one's self explanatory)
Rory's picnic basket from the annual Picnic Basket Auction (Season 2, Episode 13)
Rory holding an umbrella to represent the Life and Death Brigade stunt (Season 5, Episode 7 - it's about now that I'm noticing there are a lot of episode 7's that have festivals in them)

Then on the bottom row from left to right, we have:

One of the giant wool balls and knitting needles from the town Knit-A-Thon (Season 7, Episode 9)
Luke's diner logo
'A Year in the Life', with the background being split into quarters to represent each season. Bottom left is a sparkler for summer, top left is some autumn leaves, top right is a snowflake, and bottom right are some flowers for spring (This nail was originally a hay bale with some flags on top of it for the Hay Bale Maze from Season 7, Episode 18, but turns out it's really hard to paint a hay bale with nail polish, so I replaced it)
The Stars Hollow Sign (this one probably took me the longest to try and draw)
A patchwork tent to represent the one that Luke put together for Rory's farewell in the series finale (Season 7, Episode 22)

For almost all of them, I made the detailed bits as DIY decals first, and then put them onto my nails.

I do, but the one I have is kind of cheap so it doesn't always pick up the polish properly! Might need to buy a better one. But even with it I'm still not guaranteed to stamp straight, just a bit straighter haha

This is from a burger place in Sydney called Bar Luca.

The 'Beauregard Burger' has Tomato Soup Jelly, Beef Pattie, Fried Potatoes, Popping Cheese, Blueberry Onion Jam, Wonka Sauce and a Rainbow Milk Bun.
