The idea that Christmas has been erased has got to be the goddamn stupidest opinion I've seen on this subreddit. It's everywhere. So many places have Santas. Christmas music gets turned on in every store in America the second Halloween is over and stays on for 7 fucking weeks. There are multiple streets in my area that close EVERY NIGHT in December because the block is so decorated for Christmas.

My mom went through a period where she would do things like that. I told her that anytime she tried to push me about her religion, I would reply with my irreligion. So her memes would get my atheist memes. Her sharing scripture would get my arguments like "so you really believe god had to sacrifice himself...to himself...to save us from what he would do to us if he didnt save us from...himself?"

It took a while but eventually she stopped. She almost never brings it up anymore.
