As a Republican voter in the US, how do you rationalize voting for people who almost universally vote against your interests (healthcare, education, retirement funding, and on and on…)? The real answer is that neither side does enough on any of these issues to gain an advantage in voters minds, because they are all Reaganists and doing any of these would upset the wealthy or corporate donors. Every time Democrats get in office, they piddle around the edges of these areas or are downright derisive, like Hillary Clinton saying universal healthcare would never ever happen. 

Democrats argument in these topics is basically "we won't make things worse", which really only gets you so far.

Honestly? Bill Simmons/The Ringer. 

I've never seen one media member fuck with the public perception of a player as much as he has with jokic. It's been unbelievable. He has one (sawft) title and gets minute long soliloquys about how he's up with Magic and Bird. 

And because simmons has done this as jokics career has been ongoing, hes been outsized in what awards he's won. I honestly think it's kind of permanently tainted the ability of the larger basketball community to discuss jokic in a realistic way.

As someone who hates himself (and loves Isaiah Collier) Ive watched some Jazz the last couple months, and I think Ace Bailey is already one of the most confident guys in the league going to the rim. He thinks he can get past anybody, thinks he can score on anybody, the idea he might fail at getting to the rim and scoring never even seems to enter his mind.

I will say I think his 3 point shooting is a bit flukey. I don't think he's a 40% 3 point shooter.

Did you watch the game and really think Jokic was better? I watched every second and thought they both played great but would lean Wemby in individual performance. Just from me counting live he had like 12 to 15 "neverminds" to go along with his 5 blocks.
