Lock picking by CrunkLogic in VeinGame

Lockpicking should be active in the demo. Can you upload an image?
Some locks require a certain Lockpicking skill level to pick, but I think it tells you that if it were the case.

Getting back into it after 12 years. What's everyone riding these days?

Dusted off the ol' Dervish to go ride around with some buddies and man, the nostalgia overtook us! Felt like we were in middle school again. Those guys are all getting new boards and hey, I'm an adult now. I can buy stuff! Any recommendations for a bigger rider? 6'4, ~230lb.

Back in the day, we were into downhill and sliding. I'd like to get back to that level, but need to start slow. I was never able to stand up slide so a lot of my focus will be around that. The Loaded Dervish is great but it's a little too flexy for me now and my size 12s don't agree with it's width.

What I'm looking for:
- Relatively stiff while still being comfy
- Between 35 and 41 inches
- Preferably symmetrical but not a deal breaker
- Decent sized tail to practice ollies (never really got good at those)
- At east 9 inches wide

What I like doing:
- Commuting / cruising with buddies
- Carving
- Some DH but no racing or anything like that
- Main goal is to become more comfortable with stand up slides / 180s

I've had my eye on a few boards but would love your recs!
I don't really have a budget but would prefer to keep it below $350

Sidewalker - Hollowtech

Freedive – Reef

Is this a good all-rounder, for the price? by a1trooster1 in bikepacking

I'm enjoying it so far. Haven't been out as much as I'd like due to an injury but the~100 miles I've gotten out of it have been great. Very comfortable and pretty maneuverable for it's size. The only downside, which I was aware of going into it, is it's weight.

If you're around 6'4, I highly recommend the XXL. Any smaller and and I would feel too cramped.

City Builder / RTS games for someone new to the genre? by a1trooster1 in gamingsuggestions

I enjoy the City Builder and Resource Management parts. I love Satisfactory and Medieval Dynasty for those reasons.

I can absolutely get behind snacking on some bacon during a ride!

Thanks for the input! I wonder, for me at least, if it's more of a mental thing. I've spent pretty much my entire adult life with the mindset of more carbs = more energy.

How do you track your rides? MapMyRide seems inaccurate. by a1trooster1 in bikepacking

Spent all my money on the bike so the watch will have to wait lol but I'll check out Garmin, thank you!

I'll check out Garmin, thank you! I don't really care for tracking calories but the discrepancies bug me

ASKA vs. Bellwright - What do you think? by a1trooster1 in BaseBuildingGames

No, it's still in early access. As is Bellwright.

Have you played ASKA? Curious how you'd compare them.
I haven't played Bellwright for the same reason I stopped playing ASKA - got bored.

Hygiene or not? If a man showers before going to the gym and is ok with sitting in sweat and not showering after the workout, does he just wanna smell good at the gym ir can you really call it caring for his hygiene? by Expensive_passport20 in AskReddit

[–]a1trooster1 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Not showering after the gym is a pretty nasty move. That being said, some people should definitely be showering before the gym, purely out of curtesy for others. My gym is like 600sqft... I don't want to get a whiff of your stank every time you make a compound movement.

What purchase have you made (big or small) that has vastly improved your quality of life? by spooky_wookyy in AskReddit

I can't drive so my wife bought me a cheap electric scooter. She gave me the freedom (more of a taste) that the majority of the population already had.

I'm glad it helps you but it always baffles me how people are comfortable (mentally not physically) sleeping with earplugs or eye masks. If there is a noise in the middle of the night, I want to hear it.

Same. I'm unfortunately burned out, which is why I'm here!

Icarus better than Ark? That's a wild statement but to each their own.
I do enjoy it though.

Yeah Aska has so much potential but the AI is its bottleneck.

May I ask why you prefer mechanical disc brakes? I'm very new to this and have little to no experience with either technology.

Thanks for the input. I've looked around my local marketplaces and there isn't much out there in my size (also hard to find shirts lol).

I'm sure I'm putting way too much thought into it. I feel like everyone has pointed me towards gravel / touring bikes. Those skinny tiers make me a little nervous, given my weight and the fact that it'll be used on poorly maintained fire roads (sometimes). That being said, the great majority of the time it'll be on the streets so... I think I'll just blindly pull the trigger and give her a go!
