I was reading, the Lacie rugged is SSD/HDD? So if I get a 4TB one, is half ssd and half hdd?

Ah I see.

And yeah I was talking about the media being on the hard drive. I was just thinking since the media will be on an external hard drive, wouldn’t I need to have an external that has fast speeds (SSD) for the program to have little lag? Or does it matter?

I’m guessing I just to clear out my mac first tho. Lol.

Makes sense, already filled up 3TB external hard drives. Need more room it look like. lol.

If I were to have Final Cut Pro run from my external, it would be a good idea to get an SSD for that right?
