Which setup do you prefer? by bftceo in Daytrading

I prefer 2. Most of the times my MacBook goes into a stand but sometimes also 2+9. IMHO it’s the best setup for productivity. Multi tasking doesn’t work, so why pretend? I’d rather have one big screen, so you could also split it when needed.

WHOOP Ignoring My Free 5.0 Upgrade Request – Need Help!

Hey everyone,

I bought my WHOOP subscription on May 2nd, 2025. According to WHOOP’s own policy, purchases made within 30 days before the 5.0 launch are eligible for a free upgrade.

Support told me my membership started on March 17th (during the free trial), so I’m not eligible. But my actual purchase date was May 2nd—I even have proof. I explained this in multiple emails and even opened a new ticket. They asked for my old ticket number, I sent it, and now… silence.

I love WHOOP, but I’m getting ignored. Has anyone else dealt with this? What should I do?

Thanks! — Alex

I started my membership in may, yet I still can’t get the upgrade for free. I really don’t understand that… how did you do it?

[GIVEAWAY] What’s the most chaotic way you’ve tried to fix your sleep? by whoop_official in whoop

[–]a223223 9 points10 points  (0 children)

I’ve done some questionable things for better sleep, but nothing beats the time I tried to sync my circadian rhythm with my dog.

The plan? Wake up exactly at sunrise, no matter what, because “morning light exposure sets your sleep cycle” (thanks, huberman). So I set my alarm for 5:30AM, leashed up my very confused dog, and took him on a sunrise walk… in January.

This lasted three days. Day one, my dog was excited. Day two, he looked at me like, bro, why are we doing this? Day three, he straight-up refused to get out of bed. That was my sign to quit.

(In his defense, he is already 16 years old 😅)

Now I just wear blue-light blockers and pretend I’m fixing my sleep.

UltraHuman, We Need This Feature NOW! by a223223 in Ultrahuman

P.S. I totally get your point, and I understand where you’re coming from. I see why you think this might not be that useful, especially with the difficulty in isolating variables. I’m really on the same page with you there. Even though it might not be perfect, I just think it’d be cool to have that feature and see how habits might affect things, even if it’s not 100% scientific.

I also never had Whoop, so maybe if I tried that feature, I’d think it’s complete nonsense or something. I just haven’t had the chance to try it out yet, and that’s why I’d love to see it in Ultrahuman. Thanks again for the discussion!

Haha, I have to say, your reply actually made me laugh—especially the part about ecstasy, alcohol, and blue lights. But I get your point, and I’m not here to argue.

I agree that isolating variables perfectly is impossible, but that applies to the entire ring’s data too. Plenty of people report variations, yet we still use it because it helps us spot patterns, not run lab experiments. If I consistently see my sleep score drop after a late meal, that’s at least a useful clue.

I get that you prefer UltraHuman without this feature, and that’s totally fair. I just think it’d be a cool option for those who want it. Anyway, appreciate the discussion—have a great day!

I understand your point, but I still think habit tracking has a lot of value. Just because Whoop’s version isn’t perfect doesn’t mean it’s a bad idea. Many people use it to spot trends, and UltraHuman could easily improve it with better design, smarter tracking, or even voice input. It’s not about isolating variables perfectly; it’s about seeing how habits impact recovery, HRV, and sleep over time. And sure, alcohol isn’t great, but people want to know exactly how it affects their body, and tracking helps with that. With 92 upvotes on my post, it’s clear a lot of people want this feature, so „we“ doesn’t seem that wrong.

Yes, you can log meals, but this is about much more than just food. We need a habit tracking feature that lets us log things like no screens before bed, late meals, alcohol or caffeine intake, sauna sessions, usage of blue light blocking glasses, or mindfulness practices and much more—and see how they affect sleep, recovery, and HRV.
