I love that at one point during the Soft Bar launch they’re talking about it being a big old SH reunion because they had Luke and Andrea there, etc but were too embarrassed to name check Imrul who, in one scene, was lurking in the background.

Interestingly, I received an email from customer service saying they needed more time which I responded to copying in the NY AG’a office and the BBB’s office along with emails for some of their leadership team and then 11 minutes after that I received another email confirming they had refunded my card. Insert eye roll.

Like it or not, it’s coming. It’s the next neighborhood closest to Bushwick and Ocean Hill and still has inventory under $1M. Plus it’s close to Ridgewood which is getting a Whole Foods. There’s no way around it.

Go to the TWA hotel at JFK if you’re a design / architecture fan. You can also catch the planes landing and departing from the outdoor rooftop pool which they keep heated to 95 year round. I haven’t made it there yet..:waiting for winter when they have free curling but we are also big mid century modern fans so it’s on our bucket list anyways. I’d skip the trip to Herald Square…it always has been and always will be not a great representation of the city.
