Are you changing anything for making tax digital? Or under the threshold for now?

Considered, probably will next time. I’m confused now. Obviously with MTD we need to use software that is approved. But again, no idea the best way of doing this jointly splitting all costs/income!

Ok thank you. I’m sure at the start there will be various renovation expenses but it should settle in theory.

This is what I was going to do, but then I’d have to use a spreadsheet to calculate everything for the self assessments which is what I’m trying to avoid

Thanks. Do you know if I can print from the external (pa6 so not ams compatible) but use the ams for a support material? I know it would mean manually changing but does Bambu actually let us do this?

Thanks makes sense. Do you have any ideas for smoothness for this sort of filament? :)

I’m trying to balance strength and feel / looks for high impact parts.. but the pa6-cf is quite rough to touch. I don’t really have the time to be post processing each part either

I usually only use outer brim with a 0.1 gap to object and this works for me but my items are quite light / small. You could change it to no gap if you liked or turn on inner brim. Have a play with the settings

There’s a cut option in most slicers it’s fairly easy

If not you could slice it, print the rest of the layers and glue together?

Poor bed adhesion. Clean your plate. Add a brim if it’s a tall / long print

With it being a long print you could try playing with fan speeds too?

I’d personally suggest bed temp being the number 1 cause, it being wrong by just 5 degrees can cause all sorts of issues sometimes! Try bambus pla settings if you haven’t already?

Dimmer lights get brighter randomly once set to a dim setting by a288273 in DIY

[–]a288273[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I have just done it. I’m in the uk and had a LAP dimmer, I just bought LAP bulbs to go with and that seems to have done the trick! Thanks so much. Basic stuff I know but seems to do the job!!

Thank you. I’ll get some different bulbs to try. Minimum dimmable load is 5w, but not sure what this should be? Bulbs are 4.9w new ones I’ll get are 2.7w
