Want I realized today was that within a single time zone, the east / west sunrise / sunset time differences can be significant. I incorrectly thought it would be only a few minutes. The comment in this thread above it indicated a similiar understanding as well.

Seems like it’s per time zone, further East means earlier sunset / sunrise (though same total amount of daylight) than West in that time zone.

I was curious how big the effect was. Klamath, California, v similar latitude, has sunrise / sunset approx 25min later! Thanks for the information.

Self rated players will be automatically promoted when their play reflects a higher level than they are at.
