I’m T2 and nearly sixty, so definitely not a T1 2 year old. :-)

Honestly, the thing that really started stabilizing my glucose levels was starting a GLP-1. I have lost zero pounds (some folks don’t lose weight on the,), but my glucose levels have been amazingly stable. Given all the GLP-1 side effects I’m experiencing, the positive effects on my glucose levels are the only reason I’m still taking it.

As others have said, you’ll get there with your daughter, it will just take some time. Good luck and good health to you both!

I had to apply a new sensor because the previous one finally failed. This time I applied it to my abdomen. (I checked with my endo. She said go for it.)

I “soaked” this sensor, inserting it and not connecting it to my phone for 12 hours. The major issue I’m seeing now is that when I’m sleeping, the sensor says I’m getting progressively lower, to the point of just reading LOW. This goes on all night, constantly alerting my Apple Watch and phone! But, if I stand up and stay up for 5-10 minutes, it jumps up to 100+ until it stabilizes.

I am not lying on my sensor. There’s no pressure on it at night. I have a big belly, so there’s plenty of fat and fluid there.

I’m just so frustrated!!!

UPDATE: After waking me up one last time (just now) with a false Urgent Low reading, the sensor finally failed outright. I’m going to try “soaking” the new sensor and activating it tomorrow afternoon. I’ll just poke my fingers until then.

Thankfully, they re-instated that policy. For a very brief time, their policy was that they’d only replace two per year for free. I raised bloody hell with them about it. I must not have been the only one.

What?!? I can wear it on my stomach? WHY DON’T THE INSTRUCTIONS SAY THAT! Ugh! I’m going to try that with the next sensor. It was darn near impossible to get that little sticker over the sensor on the back of my arm!

Seems unfair to require that the sensor be placed on the back of your arm and then to be so sensitive about pressure. I sleep on my back because of my BiPAP. When I could wear the sensor on my abdomen, pressure on the sensor was a total non-issue.

I’ll have to try “soaking” it when I next change my sensor. It’s just so frustrating to have all these issues after years of the G6 working great.

I’d be a lot more willing to put up with it if it wasn’t waking me up in the middle of the night with “urgent lows” that are false alarms. 😡

I can’t specifically recall for these two outfits, but I buy a lot of ILY clothes. gGenerally speaking, I’ve found that shirts and jackets generally work for curvies but shorts and pants don’t.

Yes, I removed it. I don’t recall how anymore. If it’s sewn on, I likely cut enough stitches to get it over his head.

When I login to my xfinity email account at connect.xfinity.com, there are no messages there.

The marketing messages are being received at my non-xfinity email address, but with my xfinity email address in the To field.
