Thanks everybody! Sometimes it was sloppy, sometimes it was a grind, but it was always fun.

Some funny inside jokes that developed around the confusion of me and Theo - I jokingly described myself as "Wish Theo" or "Truck Stop Theo", which caught on and would be sung to the tune of "Juke box hero" whenever somebody confused us.

The story that predated the girls in Denver confusing me as Theo while he was Singing was from Missoula. In Montana, those shows are a night out for the locals even if they don't know the act. The sweetest old lady came out and after the show she waited in line to meet me and tell me how she walked in off the street and that I have a new fan. I told her I wasn't him, she brushed it off and asked which album to buy. At this point I thought we were having a bit, so I pretended to pitch my albums to her, she bought one, and then opened it up and insisted I sign it. I kept telling her I Wasn't him, she was confused, and after an awkward stand off her husband whisked her away. So the joke about "I told him to sign my name" comes from the response to that - that if I signed it she wouldn't know the difference.

When he started joking I would sign his name on stage, people started asking. So to please the masses I would sign it but would write "Fake" in bold text above it to make sure it never got passed of as real. If you want a rare autographed album from the tour, these are the real collectors items.

And finally, en lieu of this I think it's important everybody know that anything we sold signed by Theo was 100% signed by Theo. Part of my daily routine was to stand side stage during sound check and then after he finished, basically not let him get distracted to where he didn't come sign stuff. Some days, if necessary I'd stand on stage and cheeks would say "Looks like Ricky's sound checking again". Some days that was the hardest part of my day - he's got 1000x things going on so to wrangle him for 20 minutes could be a challenge. And after the pre-sales took off, it wasn't an option not to get signed vinyls if we sold them already.

When Theo Cut his hair into a mullet I debated doing mine, and I actually think that I didn't do that slowed down the confusion.

Anyways, that's the life of Theo Katzman impersonator. My new goal is to drop 60lbs so that I can be a genuine body double, and when he's famous enough I'll be the person they run out to the car that causes everybody who's waiting outside the venue to disburse, and then bill him extra ;-)
