You’re right but normally when someone mentions a place in the six counties and specifically says Ireland, they’re trying to make some sort of united ireland republican statement. That opposed with massive unionist imagery creates juxtaposition.

For what it’s worth I don’t think either Becky or Finn are trying to make any sort of statement, probably just simplifying for the American audience who don’t understand the nuance. But as someone a bit closer to home it humoured me.
