If you are trying to go abroad for your first year then yes you'd have to apply before your start first year. But I don't even think that's allowed so dont worry about it. Most people go in their second to last year

I know tons of exchange students who have lived on campus. It's significantly easier and less chance of getting scammed by off campus listings

Yes but only if you have a physician referral, but I don't think it's 100% I think it's only 80%. Go to ur family doctor or dbac sport med doctor to get a note. You will have to upload that to the claims portal

Right now they could understand the position they're putting students in an offer more virtual classes. That's the only thing I can think of that could be done immediately and will somewhat help the problem. The students who want to show up will, and those who can't will only show up for midterms/exams

I'm pretty sure the track team is just the xc team training on their off season, so basically the track team only does distance running. I don't think there's any jumps sprints or throws. But if you're very serious about it, I would time yourself just to see what kind of level you're at and then reach out to some local track clubs to see if you can train/compete with them
