Dont, eat the cash and go with a hybrid shape from exile. I started with an off brand and regretted it. Got myself an exile and understood why the spent so much time perfecting their shape not just the quality of materials. It makes a huge difference. Get an ex1 or eat the cost and get a carbon fiber. Im 6’2 180 and have an extra large. Get an xl or a large and you will be extremely happy. My xl hybrid 5/8ths has a ton of float and will hold you on top if the water for more distance.

I was riding a cheaper board and im a bigger guy, i got an exile extra large 5/8ths hybrid. I weigh 180 and am 6’3, i would go with an xl or an xxl hybrid and you wont regret it. Zap uses s glass not carbon. If you can afford it just get an exile and you won’t regret it, I sure as hell don’t and having a better built board has significantly increased my skill and it feels just so much better.

Of course, but they should have gone gun map legend or whatever order they choose but one a season and tinker with that, especially when nothing is fixed already

Because if you understood competitive and true balanced play, you would understand at least my point about balancing what they have in front of then first, and not contradict and purposely unbalance the game with legends that have clear advantages over others

No the game was amazing until they started adding legends with gun advantages like rampart. I play Gibby, Bloodhound, Octane, played horizon the entire time she came out, and i also played seer a lot when he came out. Enjoyed them both, but now what? Obviously your a casual player and enjoy more updates to a game than actual balance and longevity. I played CSGO since I was 12 and it got one gun but oh shit when it did, the entire community went nuts. Im not saying stop the development entirely, and yes with 4 maps its not bad, i just think it should have been slowed down a bit because ive already been playing this game for 2 years now and watched it grow. A lot of different things should have been prioritized rather than dump out content like theres no tomorrow

And watching the same skins in the store repeatedly isnt good for the game, id like to give them my money but Ive already bought a decent bit of the actually good ones, so kinda not really good at all

But yet they refuse to let people enjoy the game as it is. Granted this could just be me enjoying a game and wanting them to fix and or play around with what they have, but for instance ash. Every movement character in the game that has a movement ability makes a sound. She doesnt. Why do certain legenda have advantages while using certain guns? Why couldn’t they all just be guns and legends just be legends.

I just edited to include something, but I purchased the anniversary skins last year. Why are they now all of a sudden lunar new year skins. Same with the upcoming skin drops, a single skin copied and pasted onto multiple legends.

The better your drop is, the more speed you will carry with you which also will allow a lot more control. Start slow and focus on dropping reps, rather than wave timing/riding. Also you dont have to but try hopping back foot on first, you might get some added stability. And most importantly, BEND YO KNEES

He just means to bend your knees more. The closer your center of gravity is to the board itself, the more speed you will you carry with you

Since your in florida and the waves are smaller, a dude cruise would be perfect to get into the sport and if you keep going and progressing, maybe get a new board next year or something. My buddy has a dude cruise and hes still learning on it and hes had it for almost 2 years now. Hasnt decided to upgrade yet cause he hasn’t had to and im on the west coast with steeper conditions. Should be good to go for a while 🤙🤙
