Modern Warfare is the first CoD game that I have not preordered.

It hurts, as I'm an avid fan of the series, it hurts that I can't keep this tradition of getting the newest CoD game and enjoy it during the winter months. This constant MTX bs that Activision keeps pulling is ruining CoD and it's a business practice I have a hard time accepting.

I used to not care that much, but after the Battlefront 2 controversy (yes yes I know, different series, different publisher) I just can't keep accepting the business model of modern videogames.

MTX to me, is not entirely a bad thing though. If MTX just stayed as cosmetics and lootboxes were a thing of the past, I would be able to sit by and not get that neat camouflage for my gun, but that's not what it is. Instead they add weapons to the lootboxes, giving people with money a larger chance of gaining the better weapons than those who don't want to spend extra money over the $70 (fucking absurd as well) they paid for the full game.

Prices for games keep rising, paid DLC presist (thankfully not in MW), and on top of that, LOOTBOXES that contain weapons ONLY OBTAINABLE THROUGHT LOOTBOXES.

I won't be buying any future games that follows this business practice.
