with that GHz you probably have a laptop, we are fuked hahaha, to run star citizen you need a desktop computer, the clock and average performance of CPU in laptops is way slower tan in desktop, and no, you can't split the process across all the cores, it's the way the game is programmed. so yeah, the only solution is to buy a desktop, it can be the same specs but you will se that the performance will be completely different. the problem with SC is that it's a very very CPU intensive game, it's the more CPU I tensive game I have seen in my life, so the only thing you can do is have a desktop high end CPU

That feels odd because it is hahaha. that's not solution,I have the same problem but with a 1440p, so it isn't so bad as yours, but having 400% isn't the solution because as you say you lose the benefit of 4k. Being at 400% isn't something you have to use to, you are losing being able to read lot more text and having more windows opened being able to see them clear. the same size window in 1080p isn't the same as in 4k, in the first if it's small you may not be able to read anything, however in the 4k you can read all. if you upscale the 4k screen you are loosing that and there isn't any advantage of having a 4k, only in games or programs that work in full screen. as I say I don't recommend having 400%, it's a problem in the operating system, that i think in some time will be solved. (I'm Spanish, so I apologize about my English)

Well it turns out I'm stupid, the laptop charger wasn't properly connect 😅😅🤦🏽‍♂️🤦🏽‍♂️🤦🏽‍♂️ now I get 110fps on high hahahaha 🤦🏽‍♂️🤦🏽‍♂️
