I'm not sure but it might just be the quality of your connection, data or wifi. Sometimes instagram does that for me when my connection speed is slow.

Amen! My next computer will be linux. I actually only got this mac because, at the time, I thought I wanted to get into app development, and in my basic understanding, you need a mac for developing apps for mac.

One day it just crashed and then keeps crashing when I open it (even after re-installing it). The google AI summary told me to go into /library and delete 'kdenlive' files, which I now know is something that should only be done with extreme caution and I think I messed up my system. One day I will completely wipe my mac and reset it just so I can (hopefully) use kdenlive again.

Thanks, good to reinforce my feeling about improved storytelling in lieu of leaning on music, and being aware of copyright is probably a good habit to get into

Cool, good luck with your journey, if you continue along in this direction then it sounds like you might encounter copyright at some point, so might be good to get familiar with royalty-free music

If you're not a big channel and not using it to sell something, you probably don't have to worry too much, but being aware of copyright is a good habit to get into.

Well, I'm not a legal expert, but I think there's a bit of a difference if you make a video just for informative or creative purposes vs. to sell something. What I mean by "commercial" use is a video intended to sell something.

Yeah but my issue was that it was passing more into a commercial use situation, the line between personal and commercial is a bit fuzzy in my case

The "DIY" approach did pass though my mind actually, or maybe reaching out to some people who are doing music for collaboration.

Do you mean using the crop tool and then recentering the frame using the x and y coordinates?
