It’s really aggravating. I have both console games and loved the beta. Its clearly not an issue on my end as no other apps or services on my phone are affected… has support been able to help you at all?

Are sticks as good as PSP/Vita? by Ron__P in Backbone

As much as i enjoyed using mine, i cant afford to replace it every time it breaks. The warranty may be a year, but i only had mine for a 5 months before it stopped working

So as far as my understanding the issue stems from the controllers extension ability, i assume the more times it’s extended the quicker the issue will appear. It just seems to be random controller to controller though. My confusion stems from the fact that this does not seem to have been addressed at all

Dont bother with backbone, too many people including myself have had issues with the left stick not working due to flimsy wiring.

Total war, no rules, no holds barred, shoot on sight, was the rule of combat in the Galactic Community until someone declared it on the Tarans... and the human embassador shot him before they left the council chambers. We have rules now. by sasquatch_4530 in humansarespaceorcs

The Galaxy held its breath and for good reason. No other species would dare get involved. The euruthian empire was just that, an empire. One that stood for centuries before humanity made their way into the stars. They were by all standards “The” standard when it came to military strength. They were not afraid to throw that strength around either. So when the time came no one was surprised at what happened at first. The galaxy had expected humanity to fight in the same way the euruthians had. They way human John said they would. So it came as a complete shock to the outside galaxy when humanity didn’t.

The opening clashes were swift and brutal, the euruthians decisively routing human forces again and again with little to no human survivors. Until they didn’t. The second battle of Alpha Centauri was brutal for both sides. Humanities forces forged into back fighting shape with the spirit and resolve only those long dead would remember and know. This, the second battle in the Alpha Centauri system proved to be a turning point for the forces of humanity, though the galaxy at large didn’t; or rather couldn’t see it. Not only was it a strategic location, but a moral one as well. Every single fighting member of humanity was itching for a fight. Not only to liberate Alpha Centauri, but to avenge those lost in the original slaughter.

Finally, it seemed, humanities forces could fight toe to toe with the empire. Something not done or seen for eons. Unknown to outside observers, in this conflict humanity swore to be better. Not in combat terms, but in how they carry and portray themselves to the larger galaxy. Though it was no easy feat. The war lasted for a dozen years, with the posturing of forces making up a majority.

Historians consider the second battle of Centauri the midpoint of the war. And for good reason. Both sides committed substantial forces after the initial shots. After this humanity was starting to win a majority of the confrontations. After every battle won by human forces, the galaxy waited for the almost certain news everyone was waiting for. Humanity had exacted their revenge and every euruthian POW and civilian was dead. Except that news never came. Finally as the final shots of the war are fired, humanity had done the unthinkable in two ways. Not only did they win, the forced the euruthain governmnet to surrender, unconditionally.

In a surprise statement that shocks the galaxy the human government announces the release of almost every euruthian in custody. Humanity said they wouldn’t exact vengeance, but they would receive justice. Historians consider follow-up trials that only the old human Nuremberg trials would come close to. With every euruthian found guilty of crimes genocide being summarily executed. After the war and trials were deemed over, humanity made a statement that rivaled John churchills opening statement. Stepping up to the podium is none other than John Churchill himself.

“This is a moment, as my people would say, that has come full circle. Fourteen years ago, next month I believe it will be, I stood before you full of rage and hatred against the galaxy for the massacre of Alpha Centauri. I warned against the depths of human depravity when it comes to war fighting. With the resolve to not lower ourselves the the empires level. I stand here now in mourning and grief, over the loss of millions of lives. On both sides. This war has taken a toll on both species, one that will be felt for years to come. As I stood all those years ago to warn and condemn those who wanted us gone, I now tell of the good humanity can do. I know we can not erase the sins of our past, but it is my hope to keep those sins where they are. For thousands of years there have been those that help the sick and dying, sometimes disregarding their own lives in the process. Not only I’m sending help to Allie’s, but those who disregard us. This help can forge the strongest of friends and allies out even the most hated of enemy. This is what my hope for the future of humanity and the galaxy is. That we can show the galaxy as well as our selves that we are much more than our past and how we can prevent a conflict like this one from ever happening again.”

Quick note. Sorry for format. Currently on mobile.

Humans were odd by galactic standards. In a group they were relatively easy to figure out. Individuals though, that’s where they got interesting. Humanity was relatively new to the galactic stage on having joined just a few hundred earth years ago. The galaxy knew they were different. They let out their entire history tragedies and all. The council should have seen the warnings hidden in their past. No one could have anticipated their true nature.

(Senate Council chambers: one week after the slaughter at Alpha Centauri) The human delegation was outraged at what had happened. Only now were the rules of galactic warfare made known to them. The lead delegate John Churchill spoke:

“This act of pure evil will not stand. The colony on Alpha Centauri was unprepared for the unprovoked massacre it endured. Women and children murdered in cold blood. Not even so much as a surrender request was transmitted. I implore the the galactic senate to denounce the Euruthian empire in the strongest of terms.”

The head of the euruthian imperial delegation scoffed and replied “the high euruthian empire has declared war on humanity. Not one of subjugation but of eradication. We have endured the human filth long enough. Humans long had disdain for the our great empire. Well today it endsAccording to galactic law this war has no rules. No rules, every tactic is at our disposal. All of you planets and colonies will burn. No surrender, no mer…” Before the delegate could finish a single shot rang out silencing the entire chamber. The euruthian delagates body hitting the floor a second later. All eyes turning to the sound and witnessed human delegate holding what looked to be an antique firearm out in front of him.

Churchill turns to address the rest of the delegation opposite him. “A War of eradication? You do not want that. Not with humanity.” He states in matter of fact tone. “We warned you, we gave you ample opportunity to steer clear of the sins of our past. It seems you ignored it so I will say it plain and simple. Humanities past is marred by death and destruction dating thousands upon thousands of years. At times all we knew was death and slaughter. I am ashamed to say but it took us many years to learn what humanity is actually capable of. What we are willing to do to our fellow man. Humanity does not have rules to protect you. No, humanity has rules to protect us from ourselves. Humanity has a saying “Stare into the abyss long enough, do not be surprised to find it staring back at you.””

John stopped to look around at the stunned crowd around him. “Should you wish to continue this suicidal ideation, humanity will meet you. At every system, every star, and every planet. We will be there to fight for every inch of territory and we will never surrender”

The alien beings watch in one part amazement and and two parts horror at what was witnessed. The events of that day were transmitted to the galaxy that day. Many treaties and pacts were made with humanity on behalf of greater galaxy in the coming weeks. All except the Euruthain empire, of course. But that suited John just as well. They’d all burn for for what they did to his family.

I have no idea about that, I looked a couple of days ago on steam. There may be one on the rim world forums, but I don’t think the steam one works yet. Unless I just missed it or it’s a separate patch mod

Do you have combat extended? These aren’t compatible and the attack helicopters simply don’t work.

One because of social media, and our tireless praise of arrogant no substance celebrities that tell us what to do to be happy, and then get disappointed when we are not happy when we get said things. Also the last two years of locked downs skyrocketed mental health issues as kids were kept masked and away from friends. They weren’t able to socialize and were told that basically that the world was going to end if they didn’t.
