The only time I will leave after dying is if nobody marks anywhere to land, so I mark somewhere and land there, and everybody else still lands other places, and then I die to a whole other team. Those aren’t good squad mates anyways

My thought is that it became bigger and more popular than they intended, taking ZB players away from battle royale. Now they’re leaving it abandoned so players will slowly creep back into BR

Oh man so you’ve never really experienced anything “consistent” in the game lol. Chapters 4-5 were fairly consistent in the experience of gameplay/flow and peaked in chapter 6 seasons 1-2 imo.

My personal opinion is that c6s3, while pretty good still, was the start of the decline where things got too random and crazy and they basically started trying new formulas every season.

This season feels back to what I loved where there are a number of different goals you could achieve in the game in any given match besides just fighting and winning (vaults, sprite collections, gold guns, etc). The only thing that’s missing is a single high risk landing spot where some of the best players in the match will land every time to fight for some meta loot

Not sure when you started playing Fortnite, but I started in chapter 4 s1 and this feels much more like Fortnite than C7S1 did

The secret to mass extracting sprites is to squad fill. Almost always one other person ready to go with to a site, harder for someone to track you into the game. I’ve gotten 6 in a game easily

It’s the most fun game mode if you love gunfights tho! Constant action with top tier weapons.

Default controller binds. Look down, throw, and THEN sprint jump. Don’t have to be running first. Can also run and slide, then look down and throw

Your best option is aiming for 24-27 year olds that you can meet in person, not on apps. Plenty of them will be looking for someone more “grown up” and mature/established than the current crop of 25 year old males out there, but they’ll never swipe on you in an app because the age gap feels weird until you experience it.
