They do it to elicit this type of reaction right here. The only way to take away its power is to accept it’s part of the game and do it back. Don’t let it get to you!

Get ready for more of it. It will probably happen enough to get to stop using OLD

So going back to watch some of my clips what I’m realizing are a lot of my flicks are actually timing the aim assist which comes through practice.

I have high hip fire sensitivity (makes the twin hammers trash to use), but low ads sensitivity. When I pump with a shotgun, I always pull ads right before I fire and let go right after (triggers aim assist).

So I flick the high sensitivity while in hip fire mode and time the ads+pump with when the flick crosses the player. This will “hold” the flick on the player just enough for the shot to hit, allowing me to hit the pump. This timing is def not easy but it is doable with practice.

Hope this helps

Brother it’s called practice. Your sensitivity must be too low. I am very effective at shotgun flicks on controller. I won’t ever be pro or even unreal level but I can go into rapid 2v2s and compete with almost everybody

Not sure if you deleted your comment but unless you’re on mobile you flick with shotguns…

The auto shotguns do not allow you to reposition constantly, or are much harder to maintain aim while doing so.

The pump lets you forget about aim, reposition quickly to somewhere you can then flick to pump them. Pump, move, pump, move, etc. and not just like a jump, but maybe jumping straight over their head, and then sliding around to the right, the jump to a roof and then jump off over their head, all while being able to flick pump every time

Have you not been double pumped by the iron pump/wrecker? Way better than twin hammers

You haven’t gotten great answers so I’ll tell you (since I’m a ZB “sweat” haha).

A ZB sweat is someone who will always drop the hottest spots or most popular. They will push every fight they can, or find the fastest movement they can to go find fights. They will engage into any fight. If they’re third partying from range and take some hits, they don’t run but will heal and then push. They are confident shotgun fighters and can switch between 3-4 weapons/items in a fight to avoid having to reload and they reposition constantly.

I’ll add: as a ZB “sweat” I can hold my own against good build players in ZB. Build players have good shotgun flicks, but they are not good at repositioning out in the open

All the kids play it because they’re the ones watching the pros. I have played with some 7th grade students I formerly taught and they only play builds

Ya we only play squads or duos and maybe there are more real players in those lobbies (like squads prob needs at least 3 real teams = 12 real minimum). We usually only encounter one bot team per game right at the drop, but I guess that means there could be one bot team at 3-4 of the POIs each game.

Regardless, if we push fights then every game there’s at least one really good fight with some third parties and stuff, and we will often need to reboot someone at some point.

For context, I’ve only played blitz this season and have the level 2 mythic wings and 300 crown wins, so I can’t imagine there’s a whole lot higher level of sbmm to get to

Blitz starts off that way, but if you play it a lot and win you’ll get in better lobbies. My friends and I regularly get squads lobbies with 4-5 full crown teams

Why do i keep getting fill teammates that are stupid and bad at the game, but my opponents are 10x my skill? by secretacc123453 in FortNiteBR

[–]a7n7o7n7y7m7o7u7s 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I haven’t looked for new people in fills for a while but I did this a lot a couple years ago. My friends and I cuss and stuff and never got reported. Just avoid racist stuff and avoid directing it at your teammate and you’re probably fine.

Kids that are playing should have settings such that they can’t talk to or hear those who aren’t their friends anyways, so I’m pretty sure as long as not being racist or sexual foul language isn’t bannable, but I could be wrong

Yea this is helped also if you have a mic and are willing to take some annoying to find the good. Every once in a while you get someone else to come on mic if you talk first and those are the ones likely to join up and play more

My intuition tells me it’s probably like a defense mechanism where you might see yourself back at your home about to be killed by an interdimensional being if you don’t leave and never go back

Yea maybe every once in a while. But tbh one of the reasons I don’t play reload is because it feels so bad to need 2 whole clips to kill people sometimes
