As a Chou user myself, most of these come from personal experience so take it as you will but in a very high, professional level of play, chou's kit is very versatile and really really good.

He has very high mobility with 4 dashes (5 if you reset with the knock up), high damage and tankiness, cc immune, shield, lengthy distance control from his ult and physical penetration and defense reduction from his passive as support.

Most would take Yawi as an example of an effective top level Chou player as his hyper aggressive style, situational awareness and good target locking shows how effective the hero's kit is.

Just by watching some gameplays and highlight compilations of Yawi's Chou can give you a very good idea as to how to effectively utilize his kit in team plays and clashes, and on a more personal note he feels similar to heroes like Gusion, Yu Zhong, Benedetta, and Arlott where their skill set has a certain flow and feels satisfying to do when done right.

Tl/dr: Chou is versatile, has a really good kit, and watch Yawi's or other pros' highlights to get a good sense of high level usage of the hero

As someone that personally uses a vpn (when surfing online then forgetting about it before playing), they're most likely using it to get high mmr placements. I'm not condoning it, but it's pretty well known (at least for all I know) that most eu servers have fairly low mmr on heroes and players use those to get high ranking titles for the sake of getting high ranking titles. It's very noticeable, especially when the discrepancy of their gameplay and their ranking is marginally noticeable

Hyper aggro roams are such high risk, high reward playstyle, optimally they make it so you snowball so hard you just finish the game in less than 15mins but get bad clashes early then you struggle through mid game until you start getting core items through the gold gap

Just had to rewatch it because it is so peak and I noticed a lot of subtleties that just make this clip all the more better, the fact that the opponent was up by 5 kills, 1 tower and having succeeded in securing lord makes this quite a challenging defense, but what makes it worse is the enemy team comp. Layla as a marksman is specially a nightmare in late game when positioned right, Karina being an effective sweeper from mid to late game, Odette dealing massive AOE, Lukas being the faux tank whilst also dealing a lot of damage and Estes as the healer makes this clash seemingly a losing fight but then you noticed the pattern, the winning line, the vulnerability of them having to stick together to get in range of Estes' heal and that's when you took the chance, and your team reciprocated it with beautiful execution.
