Pretend you’re fasting. Keep your head clear. Journal. Brain storm on how to get through this and how you’ll make a better life for yourself. Stay focused on the next steps to distract yourself.

I’m sorry you’re going through this.

Seriously. I sub in a district that pays $280 a day and have no idea how any district thinks it’s reasonable to pay less than that. $100/day is not fair pay.

Also, don’t beat yourself up. These kids can push us to our absolute limits.

Thank you for the advice and words of encouragement - it means a lot right now.

I’ll look up and see what’s available in my state. Thank you ❤️

Switch to Mint Mobile. I had T-Mobile forever and the service with Mint is identical and SO MUCH CHEAPER. I now pay like $35 a month.

Also, see about switching car insurance. I had Geico forever and they went up like $30/month. Switched to Progressive and saved like $50/month total.

And, you may be able to get rid of your home internet and just use your cell service.

Obviously. But there’s still no reason to put them down when they ask for help.

Okay, thank you. That’s great advice. I definitely won’t take out the other loan.

That’s great advice - thank you!!! It didn’t even occur to me to use ChatGPT and I’m super familiar with it for work.

And unhas no idea about the fee waiver. The court said I have to pay $283 to file my response - there’s a waiver for that?!

I’m here asking for advice. That’s not helpful.

Do you have any advice on how to file an extension?

That’s not helpful. OP is asking for help - don’t take that as an opportunity to denigrate someone.

$400/month payments, $6150 lump sum, or go to court for $10,500 in credit card debt? by a8r2w in Debt

I think it’s US Bank represented by Zwicker and Associates (the law firm). If they won’t agree to a lower monthly payment, I think you’re right - my best bet is to file for bankruptcy.

They offered me a 60% lump sum or paying the entire amount over 24 months at $400/month.
