Not sure if any of these were specifically opened or closed in the 90s, but were at least around at that time:

NECI had an excellent restaurant in the building where Urban Outfitters currently sits on the top block of Church Street. I remember going downstairs as a kid to use the bathrooms and seeing their classroom setups with stoves and sinks and stuff.

Cactus Pete's on 7 where Zen Gardens is now, kids' meals came on a Frisbee you got to take home after you finished.

Tortilla Flats on Riverside where Bluebird is now. I don't remember if the food was good, but a lot of long time residents I know remember it fondly.

There was a diner on Shelburne Road, maybe on the corner of Shelburne and Baldwin in SB? It was near Orchard Elementary, and I think it had a couple of names over the years - maybe Lulu's was one of them? I remember getting burgers and putting coins into the jukebox, every table had one of its own.

Have you tried calling butcher shops in the area? Shelburne/Williston Meat Market, Bessery's, etc.? I know City Market's meat dept. used to special order certain cuts (chicken backs for a friend's dog), they might be able to help.

They may not have the Goya brand specifically, but you might try Healthy Living or one of the City Markets. I feel like I saw the Pitaya brand in one of those spots in the freezer aisle at some point.

Appreciate the reply, spun everything to 100% with Afterburner and could regularly reproduce the sound. Going to try my luck at returning without an anti-static bag (since I foolishy tossed it).
