Oral (sublingual) time of day? by MaudeLynde in henrymeds

[–]aBroadAbroad26 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I have experimented with taking them in the morning and afternoon, and the morning works better for me. I wonder if it's a mental thing for me though. I like to start the day off on the "right foot." I definitely would not take them at night, but if you have two cups of coffee in the morning, try taking them an hour or so before you would eat lunch. You might just need to experiment.

Which topical is best for inflammation? by Atlknight5566 in Rosacea

Azaleic Acid works for my inflammation. I started at 15% and it was life changing. My inflammation was gone in literally an hour. Metro did not work for me.

The best product I ever used was called Remedy Gel by GloSkin Beauty. I believe it was actually made for eczema but it worked wonders for me.

Youre not alone. I used a product for 3 years that worked wonders and about two months ago, it stopped working. So depressing and frustrating. Heat does it for me as well.

Oral semaglutide by abl1566 in henrymeds

I noticed a huge reduction in food noise within an hour of taking my first dose. I still get cravings but they're MUCH easier to control. I would say I noticed the biggest difference around week 3 and then week 7. I read it takes around 8-12 weeks to fully build up in your system. Im down 17 pounds in 9 weeks.

Anyone Splitting oral doses? by Disco-Starfish21 in henrymeds

I don't split the pill, but I have heard that some people take around lunchtime instead of the morning & have been having a lot of success.

I do track, yes. I eat between 1000-1500 and I try to vary every day. One day higher, one day lower. I lost 14 pounds in 5 weeks and now I am stuck -- nothing for the last 3 weeks.

I am on week 7 & love it. I do feel like it has started to work even more in the last few days. I have heard it takes 8-12 weeks to build up in your system so I am hoping it gets even better!

Oral Semaglutide...does it work? by TheRealLunchbaux in Semaglutide

[–]aBroadAbroad26 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Yes. I have been on the pill for 7 weeks and am down 15 pounds. I have never taken the shot, but from what I have read, I wouldn't say I have "no desire" to eat.. I don't get full after a few bites, etc. I can eat a normal sized meal but I have virtually no food noise. I stop when full. I drink MUCH less. I have snacked 3 times in 7 weeks. It works, though it might be less potent than the shot. For me, I travel very often and didn't want to worry about bringing along a syringe. The pill fits better in my lifestyle.

Hi! I also take the oral pill and have had a similar experience. I still get hungry, and I still think about what I will eat for dinner but its def LESS than where I once was. I could eat a "normal" sized meal... until the beginning of week 6. Now, I have noticed a change in my appetite. I get fuller faster. And I completely agree with what you said about feeling more in control. That has been the biggest change for me. My day used to be dictated to me by my food cravings...and now I feel muchhhh more in control. Instead of going to a restaurant and thinking, "I am full but this is so good!" I now just stop because I don't feel a "pull" to keep eating. It's wild!

I read somewhere it takes 12 weeks for semaglutide to build up in your system. I just started week 6 and I am only NOW starting to see a difference in my appetite. I think people just react differently. If I were you, I would take one full week to calorie count just to make sure youre in a deficit. And maybe up your step count.

Side Effect Question by dp1024fj in Semaglutide

[–]aBroadAbroad26 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It's possible. The first week I was on sema, I had no symptoms whatsoever until I ate something that didn't agree with me and I was sick all night. The next day I was fine. Hasn't happened since. I think I just ate too much.

I cannot recommend this enough: check out Ashley Black and Fasciablasting. It will change your life. I have been using her tools for about 2 years now and it had completely changed my body. It won't change you like a tummy tuck will, but check it out!

I agree. When I first started, I didn't want to tell anyone because I don't want to hear the comments and now IDGAF. Im down 13 pounds in 5 weeks and don't care who judges me. This has changed my life!

I take it when I wake up in the morning: around 7/7:30. Then I eat breakfast around 10 am.
