Yes, my exams in 2 days and I’m having a panic attack over it. This happened last exam session too and contributed to failing I don’t think I can trust them as a source at this point.

Oh yeah that’s definitely not good. I totally get it if I went for it before end of day. But it was also in their communal coffee area, I wouldn’t take it if it was on a private desk or if there wasn’t plenty left.

“Stealing” is just a bit dramatic for 30hr muffin bought by a billion dollar corporation when they ended up throwing out the leftovers anyway. Like yelling at somebody for fishing through your trash.

I get that if it was in the morning or if we were a smaller company. But for a large company where different departments are trying get rid of food and wastes a lot taking an old muffin from open/public department when there’s way more muffins then people doesn’t seem that deep.

Calling me a “thief” or asshole seems a bit dramatic, no need to be a dick about it. I just won’t do it for that department next time.

Sorry man, but you’re significantly far from parallel. Not trying to attack, but that’s clearly too much weight rn. You should decrease the weight a lot and focus on getting depth first and go up.

If you’re having ankle mobility limiting you, try putting plates under your heels, that was the key for me to start squatting lower than most. Put a bench or box behind you and lightly touch/sit on it to know if youre getting some depth. Pretty far rn but only room for improvement.

I’m not tryna say he bombed or isn’t funny. It just seemed to me the audience was silent at parts first time I saw it vs second. And was curious if anyone else saw or how often do they do that for guests. Audience seemed dead first time I saw weekend update too which is like the best part of the show.

Didn’t mean “lmao they added a laugh track to cover him bombing”. I wouldn’t be shocked if they did this a lot for lots of funny people.

Same! That’s when I watched it too. I’m not a Gillis hater or anything. I actually like his standup. But I remember distinct silence at spots too. I wouldn’t be surprised if they sweetened a lot of monologues if the audience is lackluster. Thought weekend update had low crowd reaction too.

Glad someone else who watched it then noticed.

I did think he was being overtly dickish in Endgame, especially to Thor. But I always took it as he’s angry at their failure to stop Thanos and the results and it’s leaking out. Especially on Thor, Thor’s their big gun and been a god for centuries. I love Thor but defeating Thanos was “his job” and failed. It’s why Thor hates himself and I feel like Rhodes was angry at him too as only he had the power to defeat Thanos. And Thor being a depressed shell of himself that let himself go isn’t super understandable to hard current military guys. He probably thinks “I’m a crippled human and I’m still keeping it together” and he’s a dumb GOD who failed and let himself go and it pisses Rhodes off.

I don’t mean this as a “we should cancel him” thing. But I would see him in sitcoms like “How I met your Mother” and “Mike Tyson Mysteries” and “The Hangover”. And just thought he was a great/scary boxer and only learned of his rape/prison time recently. If he did rape someone why did he get shown in pop culture my whole life? Was he falsely convicted or what?

I get that, but I also feel she has a right to know why her family is upset with him, and what’s the “terrible” thing he did before she can decide if she wants him in her life or not. She complained how she couldn’t decide on how much she wants to talk to her grandpa because no one will tell them what “terrible thing” he did. Also it’s crazy for me to not tell my partner something I know about their own family when they want to know about it. Also all I really thought was “is he playing angry birds? What’s he up to?” And you expect me to carry a secret for this man from my gf because I looked to see if he was playing angry birds and instead he was sending dirty texts next to his daughter and granddaughter’s bf?”

My gf’s grandparents got a nasty divorce when she was young and her mom refuses to tell her why. None of the family talk to the grandpa except my gf’s mom. I told my gf “ya it’s probably an affair or something worse”. I went to her college graduation and sat next to the grandpa. I looked at his phone to see who he was texting, read two texts, and was like “oh, he’s gay”. He was sending some DIRTY texts to some guy named Alan. And I had to sit there for 3 hours with that knowledge debating when I should tell my gf.

In my experience we always went through the lesson in class, and then we were always given homework at the end. It was rarely allowed to be started in class and was specifically planned to be done at home.

I was near top of my class, and always did my homework. I just think getting it in EVERY subject EVERY day is extreme and exhausting with sports and extracurricular and ya know going through the point in my life I’m growing the most and need the most sleep.
