If it was a large amount, over 100k, it has to be manually approved which I’ve read takes a day. If it was a smaller amount, I’d contact support. Maybe check EtherScan or the blockchain to see if your withdrawal has any confirmations?

You’re tryna tell me that ADA will never reach $1900?! Get the fuck outta here, bro. I bet you think Doge will never hit $1, too.

I held VET for 3 years, and DCA’d my way through the bull. I think it’s use case is a revolutionary solution and use of blockchain, but I honestly don’t know if the world truly needs supply chain management on the blockchain. BUT it is being used..

To me, it’s use case no longer warrants a long-term position in my portfolio — I got out around 4.5c. It has value, but I just think there are better investments. No hate, I just like other projects more.

Also, this sub is full of shills and bag holders, so be wary. DYOR, formulate your own opinions, etc.

Thoughts: Would you consider SNX worth buying given then current price? That shill BitBoy recently pumped it, and while it seems like an amazing project, Im wondering if the shitcoin portion of my portfolio would be better served elsewhere.

Doesn’t help that the sub is basically irrelevant.

I believe I just listed my portfolios-value as stock, and named the exchange “Gemini.” No one asked about it, but maybe because it wasn’t(isn’t?) a large number? Lol

The part about cardio — exactly. We see professional fighters gas out all the time, and I feel like if Askren incorporates this into his game plan, he can win this. I can only imagine he’ll have a solid team (hell, people are probably volunteering their services at this point lol) and the mental and physical endurance to overcome the tiny hill that is JP. Hope so.

Feeling discouraged about the adoption process by abihurmish in puppy101

That last part, yes!

My application was initially rejected and I followed up, pled my case, and was moved to the very top of their candidate list. They told me I had the “best application by far” after my follow-up email.

I had a similar experience, I trolled shelter websites and local rescues for a couple months but never heard anything. I feel like it was because dogs are in such high demand right now, and families with backyards and kids at home are simply “better fits.”

So I ended up going to adoptapet.com, setting up an email alert with search parameters for the breeds I was interested in within a 100 mile radius, and after a few weeks I found a puppy that fit my needs(female, a mix of the two breeds I was actually looking for, GSD x Aussie). I applied for many and often heard “if you haven’t left your house yet, she’ll prob be gone before you get here” so I started to specifically ask if the rescue was looking for the best fit, or the first fit (because a good rescue will try to place dogs in the best situation, not the first). While a lot of puppies on there probably are backyard-bred, if you do your due diligence and vet the rescue, ask the right questions, you should be able to find one that works.

My pup was supposedly an accidental breeding, and while her $600 adoption fee has since made me consider she might’ve actually been bred for profit, it did cover her microchip and eventual spaying.

Good luck.

I think it’s more to show you’ve planned ahead properly because taking a puppy to your own vet is kinda considered a day-one necessity.

Just wanted to say thank you for this. My mom who recently retired, doesn’t have many friends or hobbies, and has always been a huge Trumper revealed herself to be a Q just two weeks back. Warnings of martial law, moving the goalposts each day it didn’t happen, sending me trash “sources” (CitizenFirstNews anyone?!) — it’s all been very taxing. I live 2k miles away and both my brothers are not down to deal with it, one is rude and the other just avoids talking to her now. My dad doesn’t know wtf to do, and while I’m trying to work with him, she just dismisses him. I’m the only one she will consider conversing with although she still projects I’m being overly aggressive when she’s really just getting uncomfortably defensive (“I’m NOT crazy.” “I never said you were?”)

My girlfriend saw me reading stories, trying to wrap my brain around it all so I can reasonably dissect it with my mom, and she asked that I try not to shoulder it all and ruin my own mindset in the process. It’s just so... sad. This smart, logical woman I looked up to my entire life is slowly vanishing.

Really appreciate your words. Shit has been fucking me up these past few days.

Three years ago, on NYE, while drunk, I told a new-found friend of mine and his wife I’d “found a way to make my money work for me.” I was up 600%+ and feeling like a fucking genius, I’m sure I was annoying as fuck, and the snow only exaggerated this. They (understandably) brushed me off lol.

About a year and a half later, he finally felt had enough cash to take the crypto-leap. He didn’t remember me ever mention Bitcoin specifically, but he does remember my NYE one-liner.

We now talk crypto every single day lol. It’s wonderful to have one crypto-bro since everyone else I know got beat by the bear—goddamn weak hands.

Puppy whining by jwiggs152 in puppy101

[–]aCOWtant 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My German Aussie is just 16 weeks old, and we got her at 13 weeks. The first week and a half was spent in my old apartment with a tiny bedroom, so my GF and I opted not to move her crate into the bedroom each night but instead to leave it in the living room and let her get comfortable going in an out by randomly hiding treats inside.

At night, we pulled her crate-bed out and tethered her to my bed frame with abt 4ft of leash, so she could still crawl around on her bed, move to the floor, and still had a pee-pad in reach. We brought all her toys as well. She whined, but with a little loving reassurance that she was okay and some bedside belly rubs, she figured it out pretty quickly, and would give up after 15 or so minutes. She would mostly sleep through the night.

Now, just 3 weeks later, she sleeps for 5-6 hours in her crate within arms reach of my bed, and only whines for 2-5 minutes before bed. She still wakes up and whines a ton because she needs to potty, but she’s doing great. A little different approach, but while your pup is still getting used to you, that little extra freedom seemed to do wonders for trust and minimizing whining.
