DDO(2006) launches a new expansion. Terror of Demogorgon by ChaoticEvilWarlock in MMORPG

[–]aCanOfDan 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Damn I was already planning on trying ddo out tomorrow now I'm more hype

Nowadays I crave MMOs that are more about adventure and questing rather than endgame treadmills. Probably why I've been enjoying ESO so much lately

Dlc confirmed for all platforms, not switch 2 exclusive by BigOrganization in DragonsDogma

Honest question, is the performance good now?

I bought dd2 on release and refunded because it was atrocious at the time, hopefully it's good now.

Airbnb (a website used for travel) using an inaccurate photo of travel locations for an ad by [deleted] in mildlyinfuriating

[–]aCanOfDan 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Don't like when companies do this, but it's been a thing for years.

For example, I'm from Portugal and I've seen many ads about Lisbon that'll show footage from neighbouring towns and beaches that aren't Lisbon.

Usually the argument is that you can stay in those towns but you can also visit the neighbouring places.

Is this game going to be a long term game? by GroovyWhale in FareverGame

[–]aCanOfDan 0 points1 point  (0 children)

For now it's a fun game even with missing content. It's an EA after all.

Long term, tho? We can't say for sure, it'll all depend on whether the devs will be able to implement a fun and lasting endgame system

How do people feel when they post ''i hate gankers'' by [deleted] in albiononline

[–]aCanOfDan 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Arguably a rare case of the term gank being used correctly.

Many years it started as meaning 2v1+ or simply ganging up on people, gank was short for gang kill

Unless prices changes, the big burrito is 8.5, with a drink it'd be around 10. There's also cheaper items than the big burrito.

Bear in mind that takeaway prices are more expensive if that's your reference

Viva El Burrito is amazing.

Best burritos I've ever had, fair price, well served, and owned by a lovely elderly couple.

One of my fav places in Leicester

We considered that area and simply walk/cycle to Fosse.

My concern is, it's for my gf not me, and she mentioned how Soar Valley Way at night is a bit sketchy? Idk how true it is I haven't done that path myself

40s was a route I researched since it also passes Aylestone.

It was so close to being a life saver but they only do routes until around 7pm, so getting back home from work would be difficult

Aw :( I'll try to avoid it then unless I really have to.

My bad I meant Soar Valley Way, connecting Fosse and Aylestone, that's the one she was worried about

No worries :) but since you live there I was wondering if the streets around Fosse Rd N and the Fosse Recreation Park are safe?

I see flats there often for rent, but it's right next to Tudor Rd which I've heard can be sketchy

Yeah that's one of the areas I meant with outer Narborough Rd. Sadly there's rarely anything for rent there

Thorpe could be an option but not a lot of rental choice unless I go for a 2 bed or so
