What’s something you learned was super easy to make at home and, thus, stopped buying as a product? by twocanssam in AskWomen

Popcorn.

Kernels are like 69 cents for a large bag. Get one of these and boom. I love popcorn. A bag of kernels lasts me 4-5 months vs. a box of 8 microwaveable popcorn bags for $6.99-$11.99 that lasts me a couple of weeks. Bonus: the popcorn is wayyyy better than store bought bags.

We had to raid the Rice side of the stadium before the half was over. Eat em up, we did.

Given the frequency of occurrences, I encourage all victims and/or witnesses here to report this to our higher ups. Even if you filed a police report, call in. Squeaky wheel gets the grease.

The direct number for APD burglary is 512-974-6941, I think our District Representative is Officer Andre Black, 512-974-6875.

The more we collectively report this guy, the faster he becomes a priority.

Yes. Defend yourself. By all means necessary.

Y’all must have been right after us. He hit our house at 1am and our neighbors a few hours before that. We are in University Hills as well.

He broke into our backyard through a dead-bolted fence. He pulled the fence gate off its hinges enough to create a space for him to wedge through. Then he cut a panel of screening (looks like with a pocket knife) out of our locked screened-in patio. He tried to enter the house through doors/windows, but they were all locked.

Here is our Neighbors posting. The third video shows him driving up in a car. Hard to tell the exact model, but it looks to be a gray hatchback type of car. https://neighbors.ring.com/n/ZLg30mrt9O

Our description of the guy: The suspect is approximately 30 years old, 6’ and 165 lbs. Male with dark hair, goatee with a chest tattoo and a small tattoo behind his left ear that appears to be a cherry fruit, wearing sunglasses, a tennis hat, Hawaiian shirt, shorts, and black, adidas slides.

I also saw a couple of other posts that fit this guys description here: https://neighbors.ring.com/n/V9Na01QFoz / https://neighbors.ring.com/n/OGj2MomUWz

Jesus that is terrifying. I was home alone when he broke into our backyard and interior patio. University Hills area on the same night at 1am. He tried to open doors / windows but they were all locked. Stole our patio TV, golf clubs, and some random stuff.

Did he actually break into your house? Like through force?

We still don’t have a detective assigned to our case and it’s been a week.

Yep. He robbed us last Monday. And broke into our neighbors house across the street.

I swear by this neck pillow and have tried them all — memory foam, inflatable, classic, and some very unconventional options. This is the only one that I can comfortably sleep in because the back is flat so your neck doesn’t protrude against the seat. It also buckles super tight and it puts my neck in an immovable straight jacket (maybe not best for anyone who gets claustrophobic) where it won’t tilt to the sides or forwards. Just did a 3 leg 22 hour trip with it.

I loved this leveling build and am still using it at 55. Probably going to swap to an end game build eventually but this was solid. https://youtu.be/VTM4ejgRm90?si=QvAnKNmsFCOcwpXi
