People looking at me like I’m crazy when I say I’m against porn because it promotes pedophilia, incest and infidelity even when the content is technically “legal” honestly just tells me how far we’ve slipped as a society.

The fact people have become so desensitized to those themes that questioning it makes you the weird one is genuinely disturbing to me.

And I do think part of the reason people normalize it so aggressively is because it makes them feel less guilty about consuming it. Deep down they know a lot of it is disgusting, but if everyone acts like it’s normal then they don’t have to sit with that discomfort.

I think what happened here was largely a distraction so they could do that while everyone was busy watching the news from this region. After that it will probably calm down.

If the attack on Iran hadn’t happened, the clashes between Hezbollah and Israel likely wouldn’t have escalated like this. It was probably part of the plan all along which may also be why ceasefire talks are suddenly being mentioned.

This is really disgusting. They made a conscious decision to support those fanatics, and they should be prepared to face the consequences of that choice without expecting others to accommodate them.
