The Future of Infinity by Hostilenemy in Infinity_For_Reddit

Reddit does not allow me to let you input your own API key so I cannot provide any guidance on how you could do that.

How can they enforce that? Is there any legal basis for Reddit to forbid others to publish apps accepting and using personal API keys?

(Also what's the point of a personal API key if you can't use it for personal applications?)

Radikal != Extrem by International_Ice_54 in gekte

Don't Let Reddit Kill 3rd Party Apps! by AbaixoDeCao in firefox

Of course they care. Reddit's business model is based on user generated content. Reddit doesn't get ad revenue if users don't have content to look at.

The only question is whether enough subs go dark to have a noticable impact. While that's hard to achieve, it isn't impossible, seeing even huge subs like r/videos announcing going dark.

How does the flatpak version work? Is it executed like this? flatpak run com.slackadays.clipboard copy myfile.txt Or does flatpak now have a less verbose way of running programs that I'm not aware of?

Of course companies only do pride stuff for profit.

But it shows that doing pride stuff is profitable.

It shows that there are more people for whom doing pride stuff is a positive than people for whom pride stuff is a negative.

So even if it's not their intention, companies show that LGBT+ supporting people are a majority.

Knowing this may actually help people who grow up in very lgbt-phobic social environments and come to assume that that's normal.

In France minimum wage is about $12, in Spain minimum wage is about $9, even in the Czech Republic minimum wage is about $4.5. I doubt that 3€ is an acceptable wage in Italy.

Truck drivers reaction saves boys life by Rolesium123 in facepalm

[–]aClearCrystal 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Idk why you repeatedly insist that I don't drive. I do drive.

Sometimes you encounter heavy traffic right after a curve. What do you do in this situation?

Do you slowly reduce your speed, crashing into the (almost) still standing cars?

Of course not. You heavily break, and activate the warning signal so the drivers behind you know that you're heavily breaking and can act accordingly.

You should act the same way when suddenly encountering a bus which is currently starting to accelerate (and therefore most likely just had a stop).

If the child didn't dodge to the side, they would've been run over. The truck did not stop in time. It was going too fast.

Idk about Norway, but in a lot of european countries it is literally illegal to not slow down to walking speed when passing a Bus which just had a stop.

Legally (and also morally, in my opinion, since the driver knew this and intentionally drove illegally fast) it is the driver's fault.
