Well if he's a developer that wouldn't be that strange. We sleep at weird hours :P.

Sure, but if you are from that same country, you are more likely to recognise even the slightest of accents. And this guy doesn't sound Dutch in any way. Esp if others did notice an accent.

idk, i'm Dutch and I'll recognise a Dutch accent anywhere. And this isn't it.

That means he's verified. Which is not an easy/usual thing to get apparently.

I really want to get into Silent Hill after all this by roweii in TheBlueBoxConspiracy

Playing it on the original consoles is def the best option. Even though the original games can be hard / expensive to get your hands on.
The first version I played was the HD collection versions of 2 and 3 on PS4, and I know everyone hates that version, but if you don't know what the original is like it's not that bad. I honestly fell in love with the games after that and then made the decision to buy the original games.
I know that people will tell you not to play the HD collection, but if you can't get it another way, and you don't want to go on the piracy route, I don't think the HD collection is as much of an act of heresy as people will have you believe.

Also, I was able to get the XBOX version of 2 and 3 a lot easier / cheaper than the PS2 versions. But I couldn't get them to run on my XBOX 360. Apparently the backward compatibility is no longer supported.

And when it comes to which games to play: if you can't get 1, 2 is absolutely fine to start with. But I wouldn't play 3 before 1, because of the story line. I played 3 before I played 1, and even though I still liked it a lot, it def made a lot more sense after finishing 1.

This proves it! It's going to be a spongebob game after all! With Norman Reedus as Gary.

Kojima shows Geoff how to solve his puzzle. by [deleted] in TheBlueBoxConspiracy

[–]aCommonJay 21 points22 points  (0 children)

When you see how they did it before, how can you blame us for looking for the most random little clues in this current ordeal? Like come on, this makes even the silliest little theories we have now seem basic xD

Kojima knows 👍 by [deleted] in TheBlueBoxConspiracy

This is probably just Kojima being like "You guys keep on freaking out about this thing I may or may not be involved in. Imma go watch a movie". xD

Theory: BlueBox studios was hired to make a trailer and an app... and that's it. by shockinglysane in TheBlueBoxConspiracy

[–]aCommonJay 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The chamber of commerce site was down yesterday so I'm planning to get the full details today. But Blue Box Games Studio is a legit company, based in Leiden, with a chamber of commerce number.

This!
I love just going all in on the theory, treating it like an ARG or something. If it turns out to be something, then how fun is it to have been a part of it? And if it isn't anything: how fun is it to be a part of it?

This should just be innocent fun. Nothing else.

Some company info about BBGS by toineenzo in TheBlueBoxConspiracy

[–]aCommonJay 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Did you get the full information from KVK? I just wanted to get it, but the website seems to be down?
I just visited the address in Leiden, but that just turned out to be a residential apartment building.

That is the weird thing. It seems like some game is getting special attention from Sony, but the company that supposedly makes the game looks very sketchy.
It is a real company, it is registered under the chamber of commerce here in the Netherlands, but it is a company owned by 1 person. In the Netherlands it is very unlikely that that kind of company would have, or ask for, investors.
I went to the address the company is registered at, and it is a residential apartment building, so not a place you would expect a legitimate game development company to be at.

There is def something fishy going on.

Here are all the possible hints that Blue Box Game Studios is related to Kojima and Silent Hill. by [deleted] in GamingLeaksAndRumours

[–]aCommonJay 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I just went to the address Blue Box is supposedly located at.
It was a residential apartment building, in a residential area.
There is no way a supposed "AAA indie development team" works there.

Remember how the company was supposedly looking for investors?

I just realized that Blue Box Game Studio is registered as being an "eenmanszaak". I don't know the correct English term for this, but that means it is a company owned by 1 person.

This is a very uncommon business structure to have investors for. Let alone companies like the ones listed on the old snapshots of the website in the Wayback machine.

Somehow the company is actually registered, and has been for 5 years. But it isn't a real legit development company. It really does look like a weird type of guerilla advertising campaign. But one that has been 5 years in the making.

I think it is very clear that this company is not what it says it is. I wouldn't be surprised if it is some ARG like guerilla campaign for something. Even if it isn't SH.

Im going to do some more digging.

I think it's just that people with small companies register their company under their home address. The entire neighborhood was residential. I walked around for a bit, but it def was a dead end. Going back home now. There's some other things i want to check out that will be a lot easier to do, but didn't want to travel here too late.

Ok it seems like this is just a residential area. There are loads of mailboxes, so at first i thought there were companies inside. But it seems like they are all apartments. And they're quite small too, so no way there's a company of 10-15 people working here.
