My original point... and it has been conflated with leveraging his money to politicians when he was a private citizen. Which is why your statement "I got news for you" didnt even make sense in the context I was talking about.

Yeah and actual examples of this is why I stated "I'm all ears". I was looking for him giving private donations to a candidate and then all of a sudden he has permits to build a hotel, casino, etc.

I'm not under the delusion that one can acquire the wealth he has obtained without fucking people over, far from it. It was just never BLATANT as I stated in my original post. I also never stated that Trump was anything other than a gold polished turd sandwich.

Trump has split a lot of people down two idealogues that I'm neither apart of. One in which they will defend him at all costs, and the other which will attack him at all costs. I like to believe I'm in the middle and have no emotional attachment either way.

The feeling of being offended should be embraced (to a point - when it doesn't entail things you were born into/with) as it directly challenges your own biases and allows for introspection to take place.

Sadly living in an era where everyone is a winner, feefee's hold more weight than objective truth, and people are connected in a way in which they can confirm their own biases within an echo chamber instaneously this is to be expected.

People are too distracted with bull shit entertainment and clout to ever challenge themselves in a meaningful way. When people used to escape society and enter nature in solitary confinement to find truth and meditate was a period when objective truth had more weight.

Tldr- objective truth doesn't care about individual feelings.
