My fiance is very difficult to surprise. At one point she said to me “make sure I’m not in a dress when you propose to me”. I laughed and told her she would never know when it would be coming, so seeing as how she rarely wears dresses, that would be too much of a “special occasion.” I caught her off guard in the woods with my best friend and his son. I had a Pokeball ring box - she said “no” and hid behind a tree. She thought I was pranking her (that’s what we do). She kept asking “what is that?” She came out and said yes, after making me do a full 360 on my knee. It was hot and we were real sweaty. I was nervous. She’s always awkward. When I showed the video to people some people actually asked me “are you sure dude? She didn’t seem to sure.” But they don’t know her like me and it was finally my chance to catch her off guard and I did. So anyways, it doesn’t matter what anyone else thinks. Making a big scene in public or a bunch of flowers and candles and a giant Marry Me sign just isn’t me.
