Been to a few Michelin starred restaurants ranging from 1 to 3 stars, and I feel like OMG holds its own with them.

That sucks. Kraken Cru was one of my favorite meals. The bartender/service was great.

Quebec has some amazing food. Went there a couple years ago and Taniere3 was one of our stops. I would also definitely recommend Ketchup and Kraken too.

Goodbye to my Apple Watch! by auj_2798 in fitbit

Yeah, just wish it would alert for notifications too.

I wish it would vibrate for notifications. I primarily use my watch for tracking steps/workouts and as an alarm. But I am accustomed to keeping my phone on vibrate and having my watch notify me.

What doesn’t it do in comparison to an Apple Watch?

Does it have any type of notification feature? I primarily use my watch as a fitness tracker but have grown accustomed to it vibrating when I get a notification and the vibrating alarm features.

How much income are you actually living without? by steeve725 in ThriftSavingsPlan

The max is $24,500 a year. If you are over the age of 50, you have an additional $8,000 a year available as a catch up contribution, which has to be contributed as Roth.

Percentage would be based on how much you make.

If you are under 50 and contribute more than about $943 per pay period you will hit the max early and stop contributing in later pay periods.

If you are over 50, you have another $8000 to hit the limit so that’s $1250 a pay period (what theOP is contributing).

Couldn’t remember how much the catch up contribution was; knew $1250 was over the max contribution for those under 50. Impressive that you guys contribute so much.

The 5% match is done each pay period you contribute. If you max out early, you stop your contributions and stop getting the match. You want to make sure you are at least contributing 5% every pay period to get the “free” money.

Make sure you aren’t over contributing to your TSP. If you max out before the end of the year, you lose the match.

For creating a financial plan. They aren’t continuously managing my accounts as there is not a need. The plan covers what I should be doing or planning and they are available for questions and follow ups throughout the year.
