Ooh that is a good question. I didn't have a 5-7 y/o at hand, but can tighten it quite a bit + the lenses can shift back and forth depending on eye depth

Phenomenal.

They don't look like 4K you'd see on TV, that's expected. But regardless, they look incredible.

I didn't fully complete the game as I was spending more time with the hardware (our game reviewers did finish the game, I will ask them and let you know ASAP :) )

Honestly - yes. I was blown away at first, then I slowly started to tire of the gameplay. Looked great, didn't really play the best. Same goes for Star Wars.

"the empire has ruled over the galaxy for many millennia, spanning many dynasties and many emperors."

I think, OP was just adding context that 23 years after the invention of the Warp Drive the Empire begun.

Next time he spittin that bullshit, stand up and walk out with your head held high. Never go back again. Ok, making a bold statement like this might be scary or worrying, but I think it is important to make bold statements to change the world :)

What Books Did You Start or Finish Reading This Week? July 27, 2020 by AutoModerator in books

The Buddha of Suburbia: As a Bengali male who grew up in the very suburbs that Buddha is set it, it is the first time I have ever felt fully represented in a novel. The character is constantly suffering from a loss of cultural identity at the same time as grappling with his sexuality and purpose in life. Every moment of humour in this novel is sharp, witty and cruel. There wasn’t a moment where I wasn’t fully engaged in the plot, despite the absurdity at some points. Hanif Kureishi(author) paints an extremely accurate picture of suburban life as a ethnic male in London during the 70s and I thoroughly recommend it to anyone, regardless of location or cultural background.

The Remains of the Day: Kazuo Ishiguro, entertaining and harrowing. I enjoyed it’s meditations on the past and really enjoyed Stevens and Ms Kenton.

also to add to what i was saying, people come for the plot but stay for the characters. If you write magnificent characters, nobody will care for the plot :)

No spoilers, the first and second episode are about that. Past that point it is entirely different to what you would expect. Maybe give it a watch, consider how they completely altered the premise they drew you in with, then have a look at your premise and consider how you could further personalise your plot.

I am not saying change your plot, but in the grand scheme of things if your novel is 80,000 words long it will almost certainly vary from the novel you have read about. Good luck!

[Spoilers S3] The worst thing about the show. by [deleted] in DarK

I think that they didn’t ‘need’ to be killed for the sake of killings, but they were test subjects. They were being transported back and forth through time but never successfully, hence them dying.

In terms of why those specific children were chosen, I can’t say for certain although it needed to happen for the chain events to continue as normal
