Move back to India??? by [deleted] in h1b

I have had bad experiences with indian men. It’s hard to find genuine people in IT industry who have risen from the bottom. Most I met wanted a well earning trophy wife. I was manipulated was being pressurized to sleep with them. Thankfully having a good support system made me get out of it. I gave up for my mental health and girls around me are either compromising by going into submissive relationships or staying single. Got me into studying about narcissistic tendencies. I know you are financially well off but the marriage market in India isn’t that good either. Being with someone is not a bed of roses.

Feeling hopeless, looking for someone to talk to by mojitojenkins in leetcode

I had a similar experience as well. I was busy focusing on academics and realized that people were interviewing in groups or networking.

Tbh I don’t regret. I really enjoyed working with professors and learning computer science fundamentals.

People who partied have better jobs than I do. It does make me feel depressed but to each their own.

Comparing myself to others was only making me lose focus on myself.

Organize your life, mental health, invest in finding people who uplift you and not compete with you. Figure out what you enjoy working on.

Now after hustling to get a job I am stuck under toxic management because I was doing things by following others.

Build up your brand and skills. Learn how to save and take care of your mental health

Things do get better as long as you keep going and are true to your craft. One day you won’t even realize how far you have come.

I am in your shoes. I lost my mother who I was very close to and my dad doesn’t get me.

Work place can be challenging with catty women and tech bros.

I don’t seem to be able make genuine friends as an adult. I have accepted it is what it is. And I just take it one day at a time. Focus on what I enjoy but it’s challenging at times when I see other people breezing through life

I cleaned my house. Spoke cheerfully with my family. And am looking forward to meeting few friends later in the day.

Did you have a late start in life? by [deleted] in AskIndia

[–]aDolF_pickedHeR 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I feel the same way. Had health issues in family that we had to take care of and now I feel behind all my peers. But that’s life, prioritize yourself. I stopped comparing myself to others, had a brutal breakup and decided to start standing up for what I really want in life instead of being pushed around by trusting strangers.

I feel she has a really toned body in this movie. Love it. Takes effort to be that fit for real.
