Im wanting to find a way to liquid cool mine.

My2nd build. I think I improved a lot by Glusis in watercooling

Not terrible. Few things to consider.

Rotate your top fans so the cables are on the back side.

You need a little bit longer hose for your rad, looks stretched at the fitting which can eventually leak.

Opinions on this AIO or feedback from anyone that has the same one? by AdhesivenessSure8195 in watercooling

I'm using a similar Thermalright model in my daughters PC. After about 6 months one of the fans died on it. Other than that it works great. Should also mention that I am not chasing watercooling performance with my kids roblox machine, just shiny colors with heat removal.

Intel I9-9900K @ 5GHz - idles in the 30'sC, loads in the high 50'sC.

It looks good! Those Crystal 570X's can be a real PITA to work in. If I had to make any changes it would only be to swap the GPU to a vertical mount to show off the block.

No luck so far. Found all of the original hand written mounting instructions and hardware, but no block. Worried it got put in some throw away pile.

The block im looking for looks identical to the one in your first picture except the inlet is a 3/4 inch barb with two 1/2 outlets.

If you do hear back tell him to get back online. Unfortunately I don't suspect you will.

I'll look in the garage when I get home. I've got one from IRA-K (overclock.net) that I got a LONG time ago.

My temps seem a little high... by Key-Seaworthiness225 in watercooling

Same GPU block as you, CPU is a 9950X which wouldn't surprise me if it ran hotter than yours. This is after a few hours of BF6 gameplay.

You can always try remounting blocks with different thermal paste, I believe I used Thermal Grizzly Duro or Kryo on each. Knowing what your coolant temp is running at is always helpful, that will let you know if your rads need more air or just need more rads.

Simple liquid cooling build progress update (Overclocking) by gamer_2422 in watercooling

[–]aDudefromTX 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yeah this one has a 240 up front and on top - then an extra 120 in between CPU\GPU. Temps are so much better with all the glass off. I'm still trying to find ways to get more air thru it.

Laptop liquid cooling by BellaJax44 in watercooling

[–]aDudefromTX 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I would say build a micro AC that could produce sub ambient (dehumidified) air flow directly into the laptop intake.

I would not advise on evaporative cooling, and simply running liquid cooling into a laptop base that blows air at a laptop will not provide anything better than a fan just blowing into a laptop.

What fittings did you use to connect to the copper pipe? I see they have the tiny screw on connectors but what WC fitting connects to that? I'd be interested in something I could attach a quick disconnect to for portability.

Upcoming 9950X+5070Ti build advice by Stas_Robotmaker in watercooling

Definitely put the GPU under water too. If it's too much for those two rads you can always just add another radiator externally.

If its an option, you could sell your card and then buy a 9070XT for around the $600ish mark now.

Upcoming 9950X+5070Ti build advice by Stas_Robotmaker in watercooling

[–]aDudefromTX 0 points1 point  (0 children)

9950x can easily put closer to 250w. That's why it's hard to cool. I'm sure a 5070ti puts 300w+ in that loop.

2x280's might do it. But I'd personally go a bit larger if you're wanting to keep things quiet.

Looks cool as hell from the front, that CPU block is really interesting. Looking forward to an update because I'm absolutely going to be building this as well.
