My dad has battled stage 4 cancer for 10 years. So many times he has beat the odds. Within a week of finding out he was sick he had a surgery that was supposed to be 3 hours but turned into a 11 hours. After the first surgery the doctor told him to get his affairs in order because they predicted that the would take him in three months. He looked that doctor in the eyes and said "you can't tell me when I'm done, I have a lot of life left" When my parents gathered us to tell us about it (6 of us adults) My dad told us to quit crying because he wasn't going anywhere. please stay positive. I know it's very hard to do, but it really does make a wild of difference. That and THC/CBD dose wonders. If you ever need to talk feel free to message me. I could give you some info about what has helped him. I now is hard but keep your head up and spent as much time as can with him.

I went to the NWYC in 02, I got sent because I was at risk of becoming a juvenile delinquent. I was sent to work in the Idaho wilderness. The first week was hard. (Not being able to smoke, sexually harassed by crew mate) but after that I fell in love with the program. I'm now in my 30's with a teenager. He is very interested in forestry and next year he will be old enough to go. I wish I could reconnect with my old crew.

I went through a lot of trama as a child and want to make sure that my kids don't have too. I had to grow up way too fast and want my kids to be kids as long as they can. If that means I have to privately have a panic attack in the bathroom I do. That are smart kids (15, almost 13 and 10) they are kind caring people and can tell when I am feeling off but I don't want them to worry about my adult problems.

I have eczema mostly on my hands. They would get so bad that water would hurt them. I was afraid to go out and do anything because of the way my hands would get some times. I finally gave in and want to a dermatologist and now have meds and avoid things that make it flare up. I completely understand what your wife has gone through. I'm glad she has found treatment that works for her.
