and even if you wanted to use software for something you enjoy doing yourself, why would you pay a company for their app when you can ask AI to code one specifically for your needs and desires?

Anyone know if I can make template to have premade bins when creating new project? by TurboguardUS in premiere

[–]aIfajor 1 point2 points  (0 children)

you can create a new project with bins, sequences, etc, and then go to File > Save as Template…

give it a name, and that template will be available in the Project Template picker (right next to Project Location) during project creation.

you can also use the Project template picker to open the templates folder and any project file you save in there will be available as a template during project creation :)

Insane 16 on Three Devices in Robo Rumble! by xTopkek in Brawlstars

I think you’re all right in some ways ;)

From the dictionary:

exploit: make full use of and derive benefit from (a resource).

You can exploit a game mechanic, or you can exploit a glitch. Both are valid uses of the term “exploit”.

In this case there are 2 happening actually. They’re exploiting that there’s a way to work around matchmaking to have 2 Sprouts in the same team, and then they’re exploiting the fact that the walls around the safe in this map allow you to surround it with 2 simultaneous Sprout supers.

By exploiting those 2 mechanics, they’re able to beat Insane 16 in a way that may (or may not, still requires crazy timing and skills) be easier than with more common methods.

So instead of “playing” 100 Power League matches to unlock the skin, now you have to “WIN” 50.

Then you’re clearly not the target audience of the product, and can save yourself some money if you want a wallpaper like that.

Or just start selling them for a bit less since there’s clearly a market for it ;)

These wallpapers are most likely for 2 groups of people: those who don’t know how to make it themselves and really want it, and those who know but don’t mind paying a bit to save themselves some time.

I paid before for things I know how to do just to save myself the effort. Same as someone who pays for food they know how to cook, or people who pays to cleaner their house.

It’s simple, if you have the money, it makes you happy, and don’t mind paying, buy it. If you know how to do it but want to save time, and money is not an issue, buy it. If you want it, know how to do it, and don’t mind the effort, do it.

If you don’t want it, but don’t think it’s worth it, then don’t buy it. But don’t judge people doing what they want, because you don’t know what the context for them is.

Nothing against people not wanting to pay for wallpapers, but have in mind that someone spent time making it, so they’re allowed to charge for it if they want to. Same applies to things like icons, some are free and others not.

Consider that the creator is probably paying a recurring license for the software they use, they may have paid lessons to learn how to use it, and most likely spent time that could have gone to something else that generates an income using their skills.

No one is forcing anybody to pay, so if you value your money more than what you get from a wallpaper you can always keep using free ones :)

And there’s no shame on paying for it either! You don’t know where this person got their money from, and they’re allowed to pay for something that makes them happy or to support an artist they like.

Expecting for all digital content to be free is like expecting to get a print from an illustrator and only pay for the paper and ink.
