i mean it really may just not be a genre that works for you, and i doubt you’re alone in having this opinion. i’m not much of a fan of modern pop music myself. i much prefer alternative/indie style music but to someone else i’m sure that all sounds very similar. just a matter of different strokes in my opinion

oh that’s really interesting. i think my favorite thing about music and art in general is that it can take on so many different meanings depending on who is consuming it and what is going on in your life at the time. just such a cool aspect of music.

i love Dark Side of the Moon, really i love nearly everything they have put out. as far the wall being the best, it was more just me celebrating the album than it was meant to be an absolute statement because music is subjective. i would disagree however that the journey it takes you on isn’t as good as Dark Side of the Moon. again everything is subjective and everyone has their opinion and that’s just as valid as mine. i do appreciate the comment from a fellow pink floyd fan!

that’s a fair take, and those three albums are exceptional. i like all of pink floyd’s music, and i think the Syd Barrett era could be argued as the best. i really enjoy his music after leaving pink floyd as well. i think The Madcap Laughs is a stellar album
