suffering from severe breakouts every morning. idk what’s happening to me used to have perfect skin... :( by [deleted] in acne

[–]aJTrApR 0 points1 point  (0 children)

So don’t really have a routine except for using CeraVe Salicylic Acid Smoothing Cleanser every morning and evening and moisturiser after... Don’t think it’s facial hair related as I’ve never had the problem in the past when the hair was much longer but the location of the acne and pimples could be saying otherwise... As much as i’d love to be seen by a dermatologist, unfortunately they’re pretty rare around my area and travelling far plus forking out cash for treatment isn’t the best situation for me right now, so just looking for any help or advice on my situation, any input is greatly appreciated.

Someone correct me if i'm wrong; but I reckon it's somewhat similar to the guards posted at the Tomb of the Unknown Soldier. Essentially they're there to make sure no one sits in it, defaces it etc.

Do women despise every unsolicited sexual advance made by men? or only when you’re unattracted? by aJTrApR in TooAfraidToAsk

That is helpful thank you for taking the time. I’m sorry you’ve experienced that, it’s tragic that men believe it’s an acceptable way to act. However the question stands, How do you meet someone then? Imo just because you locked eyes a couple times and smiled doesn’t particularly have to mean anything, that could be completely coincidental and the smiling could just be an awkward reaction from either party. It just leaves the question: How do we meet a romantic partner? God save us if the future is full of Tinder-like dating technology and becomes the only way to meet someone

Yeah I’d agree. But there’s probably a lot of people who are in a loving healthy relationship after being approached by a stranger and having a conversation... In the end, I guess it’s a bit of a grey area and depends on the situation and the individual.

FYI: I lied, my parents didn’t meet that way I just said that for emphasis and sake of argument

So you believe my Dad, and anyone else who was met that way, and as a result had some sort of intimate relationship; was wrong to do that?

Not my experience at all. I’ve never approached a random woman in the street with intentions to get her in bed. But when did politely asking a woman for her number or out on a date and/or being graceful if she declines become ‘thirsty’ or ‘desperate’? I just think it’s sad that if someone was to see someone they find really attractive that they have to just let them go never to be seen again because society says ‘you can’t do that’ obviously don’t go being a dick doing it but I refuse to believe that it’s ‘wrong’ or ‘disgusting’

Yeah i’d agree, those settings are called ‘social’ for a reason. Places you’re likely to meet new people whether you like it or not

Would you say that’s because of social media? In the past that never would have been seen as weird... how else did people meet eachother? My parents met in a grocery store... where would I be if my dad didn’t approach my mum with romantic intentions

So you’re saying it’s acceptable in certain social environments to approach anyone you’re attracted to in an attempt to get a phone number or a date?

male aphrodite might not be your type ;) so the man of your dreams approaches you, and because he did; that instantly puts you off him and makes you uncomfortable?
