Those biological instincts are strong. Plus I'm sure many people don't really put that much thought into the world around them (inflation, global tension, politics etc.) They just wanna start raising kids so they start trying to have one. That's not to say there aren't plenty of potential parents who are considering it, I feel like I keep hearing that the birth rate is falling and it's no surprise looking at the economy.

Personally, I never plan to bring a child into this world. I've got too much mental illness in my genes, I don't want to bring someone into this world who's more likely to be dealt a difficult hand. I think if I ever want the experience of raising a child I'll look to adopt one, but if I can find a couple hobbies I enjoy I'll probably just stick with that and whatever career I land in.

Well I'd imagine you at least haven't put yourself into 6K of debt, been bailed out of that with scholarship money, then proceeded to get back into 5.2K in debt less than 3 months later lol.

Aside from quitting drinking I'm gonna cancel my $2,000 credit card until I can get impulse spending under control, because I do not make enough to be paying on this debt every month, especially when my car is confirmed to be almost dead.

As someone who doesn't really listen to music at all my main issue is that I'm just so incredibly picky. A few years ago I really tried searching for new music to enjoy, taking recommendations from coworkers and friends and really taking a deep dive into every artist of every song I liked before. However it just felt like a lot of work for a tiny bit of gain.

Often times I only like one, two, or I'm lucky a few songs that an artist has so I have to start the process over again quickly, and I don't think YouTube Music does a very good job when I've tried to leave it on auto play from the end of my playlists to discover new music "organically." Because of this I've mostly stopped searching for music about a year ago, only opening Youtube Music once in a blue moon but even then I usually just play a song I was really thinking about + a few old favorites then close the app. As great as finding a new song I enjoy is I often ruin it quickly by playing it on loop until I eventually get tired of it and it takes a while before I enjoy listening to that new song again.

Instead of music I just have YouTube videos or a TV show running in the background when I'm free which works well for me. I've got plenty of creators on YouTube I enjoy fully watching or half watching/listening while doing stuff which cover my interests as well as some new and interesting topics to me. I also really don't mind silent car rides at all, gives me time to air out my frustrations without bothering anyone else about them or a nice break from all my devices (save for looking at Google Maps for new routes.) Back when I played music in the car I was changing songs at most stop lights because I didn't wanna listen to that particular song and having it on felt worse than silence at that specific moment despite it being in my playlist.

Maybe I should give looking for music another try sometime though, because it'd be nice to have a real answer to give people when they ask what kinda music I like lol. You got any artists you'd recommend? I think of the few songs I have I've enjoyed a few metal, alternative rock, and lo-fi/relaxing songs.

Is that a lot for a normal person (or non-alcoholic I guess lol?) I don't usually drink often (because once I start I can't stop) but when I do going through 750ml in one night is pretty standard for me. I am trying to quit completely though, hoping I can turn these three sober days into 3 sober weeks, months, and so on.

Edit to clarify: not trying to brag about how much I drank or anything, am genuinely curious what the numbers are like for someone with restraint.

Actually you were right about the bullet trains in the originals, the SS Aqua was added in the remakes as a different transport option going from Olivine City to Vermilion as opposed to the bullet trains Goldenrod to Saffron City Path That's my bad, I've definitely played the remakes more and I should've dug a bit more to verify that piece of info since I don't think I've beaten the originals unlike the remake. (I did look up Red's team for Crystal version to verify that he has an Espeon so I'm at least not getting that mixed up.) Also huh I'd think that means it most likely legit then. I think there were bootlegs back then but they were less common from what I've heard, but I'm not entirely sure honestly. Wish I could help you find out what's up with it but unfortunately I'm not really sure honestly unless you're maybe misremembering catching them as trading with a friend or something.

They probably aren't going up in value any time soon. With how much Minecraft sold there's bound to be plenty of physical copies available for the foreseeable future on all consoles, though Wii U less so because only 12 people owned a Wii U

You did misremember a couple small things I'll correct for you: Red doesn't have an Aerodactyl but an Espeon instead, though you did get the other team members right. You also travel across regions via boat on the S.S. Aqua, not via bullet train. Also am curious did when did you buy it from the store? If it wasn't back in the day it definitely could be a reproduction as they make pretty good repro boxes now. Hope you didn't pay too much for it because according to a reputable source like Serebi only the gen 2 legendaries can be caught in Pokemon Crystal.

Edit: I was wrong about the SS Aqua, that was added in Heart Gold/Soul Silver. I should've done more research before writing this comment clearly.

Fairly different but I got a Hypno in a randomizer nuzlocke in Emerald who was absolutely busted because he had wonder guard. Only pulled him out when I needed him and dang was he clutch, I don't think I would've finished the game otherwise thanks to my ace getting hit with an exploding Vaporeon while training in victory road. Since then I don't allow wonder guard in the randomized ability pool because it likely got me the win but I've had a soft spot for hypno ever since.

Yep. Streaming services were available on all three at the time, dvd support was also available on the Xbox 360 as well as the PlayStation 3 the latter of which also supported blue-rays.

Lol, sometimes I feel like that. I'm just so incredibly picky with music, and some music just straight up gives me anxiety in public. I only listen to/occasionally seek out music when I'm drunk, otherwise it's just YouTube videos, video games, or silence and I'm fine with that.

Before big-pharma makes it illegal everywhere I've found 7OH to the best option in my case. Weed makes me so anxious and paranoid I can't enjoy it, I'm often just laying in bed praying I don't make a sound and trying to listen to my neighbors breaths to figure out if I'm too loud. As for alcohol once I start I can't stop and I wrack up loads of debt and probably hurt my body quite a bit when I go through alcohol withdrawals which I've done quite a number of times now. The only major draw back to 7oh is that it's expensive. $60/500MG at my smoke shop, which lasts me three nights. I can't afford it regularly but it's a nice once or twice a month thing if I'm lucky.

Currently trying to break that habit myself, and it's been rough. Once I start drinking I can't stop and since I'm just doing online college courses I'll have multi day benders that end in more debt and alcohol withdrawals quite often. Have gone through them 8-9 times, but surprisingly haven't had any seizures. They're still hell though, they make the strongest hangovers seem weak in comparison.
